I was very excited to read this book hoping to learn more about quail raising but very disappointed. I did not learn anything I already don't know about quails and the information offered on them was very limited. This book is great for chicken raisers though, lots of information about ailments and such.
Good reference book for those getting into raising chickens and for those with questions about them and need guidance on housing them, health issues and about every other facet related to them.
Easy reading with a good overview of various breeds of poultry and general rules of thumb to be kept in mind while raising them. The author clearly loves her birds and has established a synergistic system of raising poultry in a humane, ethical and nature friendly way. The book is a bit limited for US populations only.
