From God to You is a book of contemplation, written from the point of view of God speaking directly to you. It incorporates reflections on scripture and paraphrases of scripture. Conveniently divided into thirty chapters, one for each day of the month, this book is ideal for daily meditations. It is available both in kindle format and in paperback.

From God to You is a timeless book, a book that in its brevity, simplicity and elegance had a much larger impact on me than I thought possible. The reflections on scripture are beautifully phrased and surely indicative of many years of thoughtful reflection by the author, both during dark nights of the soul and spiritual heights. Curran celebrates the Word of God in these 30 daily reflections in such a unique, non-preachy and comforting way, that it will likely become my go-to book in times of trouble and in times of gratitude. The over-riding messages that the author captures from the Bible, the greatest book of all, are comforting ones, that God loves us as we are, sins and all, is there at our calling for him, and that we are conduits to others for his love and spirit which abound. Some of my favorite reflections, which are presented alone on separate lines with the corresponding scripture citation at the end so that your concentration is not broken and as if God is speaking directly to me:
You don't need a teacher or a guru. I show you how love makes everything new.
I turn your grief into joy.
I guide and I provide.
I'm looking after you.
If you're humiliated, be patient.
Accept, with gratitude, whatever is, and whatever happens.

The book is thoughtful and of practical use to all, and would be particularly helpful for those recovering from addictions and following 12-step programs, where the emphasis is on "turning it over to God." Each reflection in the book reminds us of why 'Let Go and Let God' is central to recovery: it leads to a healthy, happy life.
From God to You is a little guide to daily living for the 21st century that is reminiscent of Lazy Man's Guide to Enlightenment written in the 1970s. Where From God to You rises above the latter is that it is timeless and not mediated through the culture of the time. Inspired by reflecting on the most timeless message of all, the Bible, it will continue to inspire 50 years from now as it does today. I have it both in Kindle and in paperback and the paper is right next to my bed for sleepless nights.

I read this book and appreciate how thoughtful Scott was writing this book.You actually feel like God is talking to you,and it creates a lot of interaction,which is the best thing really.Its simple,straight to the point and is hard hitting.Plus side is that it even has bible passages you can refer to.

This book is practical, thoughtful, and of simple use for everyone. The author does a wonderful job of relaying messages from the Bible in an uplifting, comforting, and spiritual manner (citing scripture for reference and confirmation, which I appreciated). The book tells us why letting God lead us, leads to a better life. You can also look at it as a daily living guide as the author does an amazing job of summarizing God’s lessons and supplying words for meditation with encouragement and peace. This is an uplifting and peaceful read!

God's love and promises for all humanity
These reassurances of God's presence in our lives should uplift all ! The truth from Holy Scripture explained in common English language is helpful. As God speaks to the reader, reader absorbs the Holiness of God and the Love from God. Simple but profound!! Peace within and compassion to all.

A Lovely Reminder of God’s Love
From God to You is a refreshing summary of key concepts of the Bible. In an easy and simple manner, it reminds the reader of God’s unconditional love and grace in our lives as we cherish him in our hearts and through our love for ourself and others. I truly enjoyed it.

Imagine God speaking to you
What would He say? Curran has pulled relevant Scriptures out to help us imagine God speaking, as He has already done in His Word, telling us certain important truths.
I only gave it three stars because there are many places where the author seems to be crossing over from what God actually said into his own interpretation. Other places had a hint of New Age teaching...at least some of the same words and phrases are used.
What would He say? Curran has pulled relevant Scriptures out to help us imagine God speaking, as He has already done in His Word, telling us certain important truths.
