This is the third book in the 'Dust and Silence' series.
Monsters, magic, torment, death, and agony all have combined to make Felsland a place of never-ending nightmares. Its King sits upon his throne and continues his terrible schemes. The elves have vanished, the Aurai have fallen, the mages are under siege, and the Orlorians are being pushed back across the plains. The white dust has made Semias invincible.
