I like this volume quite well, especially the story when the MC's grandfather's demonic rival came back to try tricking the MC into making a deal with a murderous spirit from an ancient tomb. Things usually get ugly when humans make deals with supernatural beings.
In the second story, the woods nearby are under threat and a demon is trying to make a deal with another demon (who had been pretending to be the MC's father for years) in order to protect the woods, and who was the mysterious owner of the cottage in the woods?
I like the outcome of this story because how the mythical Master of the Hills finally saves the woods is a bit unexpected.
We also have a long story about how the MC's grandparents got married and somehow a powerful tree spirit is involved with the arrangement of the wedding, how? It's another story looking into the MC's Family's past and an unexpected ending.
