Not a bad book - it just devolved into relentless scenes. Both husband and wife loved it! I want more in the stories I read.

This story of a husband who encourages his wife to (stop me if you've heard this one before...) enjoy sex with other men while vacationing in Jamaica isn't going to win any awards for creativity. Of course they meet an already liberated couple who serve as role models, of course she indulges in erotic massages with indulgent masseuses, of course she enjoys mind-bending sex with other men. But even if the plot isn't going to surprise anyone, it's a fun read. One drawback is the he said/she said nature of the storytelling, which alternates between the husband and wife in telling the tale. The problem is that they *both* tell the *whole* tale. That's great for the wife filling in the details that hubby isn't around to see, but reading about the same experience from two perspectives isn't always as fascinating as the O'Rourkes may believe.
