Save Me

I wasn't expecting to meet someone like him, that's for sure. And in a sex shop, no less. But Jack drew me in with his dark eyes and his intoxicating scent and kept me there with the rest of him. He was in much the same place as me; closed off from love and more than a little lonely. Not that either of us would admit that to ourselves. Now I want to save him from that life, if he'll let me, but will he end up being the one to save me?

'Save Me' was pretty awesome. Carly and Jack were both very relatable characters. I like that it takes place in the mountains, in a relatively small town. Coming from a similar area, it was easy to put myself in the story and brought back a lot of fond memories. I absolutely LOVE that Carly wasn't a size 0; makes it MUCH more realistic. Ladies can have curves and still be sexy bitches! The storyline and plot were well written and kept me interested. Some hot sex only makes it that much more interesting. *Wink* I was actually a little anxious while at work today to get home and read some more. I read so much that I finished! I will definitely recommend this book to all my friends that enjoy a good book as much as I do. I'm looking forward to reading 'Promise Me'.

Great start to an awesome new series! Loved the characters and I can't wait to see where the road takes them...... VERY SMALL SPOILER AHEAD!!!!
... I'm really curious about this letter. I have an idea of who it's from. Can't wait to find out if I'm right! Although this is a series this book does not end on a huge cliffhanger.

Lovely story. Well written and edited. Wonderful characters and an enjoyable read. Quite spicy in spots!

I found everything I wanted in this hot little read, I burned through the pages in one sitting and wanted more. The emotional pull between these two sexy characters was easy to relate to, easy to connect with, and easy to love.
Carlene Moore or Carly, is a bartender and accounting major. She just wanted to have fun, just wanted to be the normal girl, wanted to be treated with respect, she didn't want all the trappings and drama of a committed relationship. She is defensive and guarded, she makes sure she pushes anyone and everyone away that might hurt her in any way, until she meets her lumberjack in a little sex shop.
Robert Webster or Jack, is no stranger to being hurt and guarded, he keeps to himself, he shies away from love, commitment, and relationships in general. He is committed to his business and owns Webster Sawmill and he is unaware of a sexy little pistol that's about to shoot love right clean through his heart.
These two are about to find out that communication, opening up, letting things out, and family drama means everything in love and life.
I feel like Brad Pitt in SEVEN.. instead of "What's in the box!" I'm saying "what's in the frickin note?!?"
