Indie manga from the Tokyo Underground, five hard-lined stories are presented in the fifth installment of GEN. Alive is a collection of seemingly mundane events twist with an unusual presence of the unreal as the psyche of ordinary people is explored. In Souls, chapeter 2, Wanus soul is trapped in a vessel on loan to the homo-erotic fantasies of important men, until he is visited by the mysterious soul catcher. Wolf is the emotional story of a young man that heads to the city to avenge his childhood abandonment. VS Aliens is the story of an average student duped (or not?) into going on a wild alien chase. A mysterious masked stranger in KAMEN holds secrets to hidden powers to protect innocents from massacre.

So far the best storylines out of the Gen series is Vs Aliens , Kamen, and Alive.
Vs Aliens threw me into a world wind of confusion and no she didn't type attitude lol.
More and more Kamen story and character is coming out of his shell. I can not wait to learn more and more about the masked niija.

Alive was great I love the characters and storyline. I hope more of the story comes back in Gen 6.

Right now Kamen and Souls are the standout tales.
