This is a very short story about helping others. A train pulls into a station, but can't seem to move until everyone's shouts help him out. Great for a preschooler to begin to teach the importance of helping others.

The train is ready to go and starts its trip but along the way it breaks down. The engineer can fix it but he'll need some help. Will the people on the train help the engineer repair the train?

I enjoyed this book. It is perfect for 2-6 year olds. They can make the train sounds as the train moves along. The drawings are adorable. Just a wonderful read!

Forced rhymes throughout

My kids like it, but I have to wonder why the author feared prose. My 6yo wishes the train was more magical.
