4 stars. Okay, now we're getting somewhere with this series. And it only took four freaking volumes! I'm not going to complain too much about that though because I really did enjoy this one. My favorite in the series so far.
Oh my sweet baby jeebus the 'sex scene' (it was stimulated sex for a scene in a movie) was the hottest thing I think I've ever read. So damn hot! The fact that people were watching and filming just made it that much more dirtier.
Then after that we get jealous and possessive Zane which was worth it because he's very, very much an alpha male. I loved it. I actually know not that I am definitely Team Zane. He's just so dominant and sexy.
I like John a little bit now but he's still so boring to me.
Overall, I think this volume was a huge step in the right direction and I'm excited to see where it goes next.

I am glad that this is a short, easy read. I am not into the kink, to be honest, plus I am not sure if our heroine here is confused or suffering from Stockholm syndrome, but I am now halfway so I might as well read it until the very end.

I will say the shooting of the movie scene was ahhmazing the rest was okay. I think I shall stop here in the series tho. It's a decent book thus far.

Dirty Lines by Breena Wilde is the fourth book in a set of serial novels about Cadence and her two Johns (that really doesn't get old *laughing*).
This book begins with Cadence heading in to be the body double for the sex scenes in the movie John Cruze is starring in and John Zane is helping make. The tension between Cadence and Cruze is off the charts. Their *moment* is daring, and risky, and has consequences. Ones that Cadence soon learns about.
We see the sweetness in Cruze, his attraction to Cadence warring with his common decency. We also get to see something deeper in Zane. There's moments when he doesn't do whats expected and he ends up shocking us with his compassion. It will be very interesting to see where these books go...A fantastic, short read with another unresolved end (of course, it IS a serial novel).
Irresistible Lines and Twisted Lines should be out fairly soon - fingers crossed!

I LOVED IT!
A how I Love Candace! She's still with Zane, and you want to like him, but I just can't. There's something about him (besides his freakiness) that I just don't like. We get some more of John Cruze in this installment, and OMFG HOT HOT HOT!
The chemistry between Candace and John is AMAZING and so hot! I hope we get more of this in the next installment instead of Zane..
I hope that John and Candace can be together soon, I know she has feelings for both of them, but I believe John is the one who can show her love and he won't use her.
The limo scene in this book with Zane and Candace was CRAZY! You can see that Zane cares about Candace (he just has an odd way of showing it).
Candace's strong character doesn't break much during this book, but towards the end, I was hurting for her, and am glad that Zane had the heart to help her instead of punishing her for breaking down.
I can't wait till the next book, but now have to wait till its published :( All four of these books are quick reads, and I encourage each of you to pick them up.

Holy cow these books just keep getting better & better! We start off filming the movie & now Cadence is the fill-in for the sex scenes with John Cruze. I can't say anything except that you will need to wipe the sweat from your brow & the drool from your lips after reading their hot sex scene/pretend sex scene for the movie. They are fooling nobody - John Cruze & Cadence have sexual chemistry that burns across the screen! John Zane turns up the heat on Cadence in another way because it seems he's developed real feelings for her, and I'm not so sure that Cadence hasn't developed feelings for him as well. And Cadence finally admits that Mr. Zane gives her the kind of pain/pleasure that she craves. Zane is not fond of other men touching what is his and he threatens to open a door to Cadence's past to punish her for straying from him. Wow, it is getting so good!!

That sex scene... whoa. I mean, WHOA. I even went back and read that twice just for good measure.
Am I glad that Cruze got to play a little? You bet! Am I freaking out for Cadence? Totally! Do I finally think that Zane could be turning a corner (even though he set them up to fail!)? Yes ... until he mentions
Cadence's breakdown at the end is heartbreaking. I know Zane has probably whisked her off to the Blue Room, and I can only hope that he doesn't plan to keep her there for the remaining portion of her contract.
Looking forward to the next books!

With each installment I love this series more and more. It has a great storyline. I still want to know so much more. Who were the kids on the photo in Zane's office? What is Zane's plan with John? I want to know more about Zane. I know he is shadey and all but he seems to have such a soft side to him as well and now he is falling for Cadence. I am not sure about John as we don't know too much about him. I would like Cadence to make it on her own and not really need either one of them. I want her to have a HEA...can't wait for more!!!

The twists and turns in this series are crazy. One minute Cadence is having incredible sex with Cruze and in the next breath saying Zane is hot and great in bed making you wonder who she really wants. As a reader we want Cruze but sometimes I question if that's who Cadence wants in the end. The sex scene in this one is crazy and you are left with a cliff-hanger wondering which director the author is going to take the storyline. Love the series and looking forward to what is nect.

Ok I have just finished reading the first 4 books of this series and WOW!!!
I have been totally surprised by this series and this instalment I think was the best so far.
I do have one question Zane at the end tells Cadence that they are home.....where is home?
Is it where he goes and sleeps/change/showers when he's not at the hotel and if so is the two kids from the picture living there.
Plus Mr John Zane totally L.O.V.E.S Cadence

Holy Hot Tamale! That scene between Cadence and Cruze was hot! Zane though was even hotter when he pulled Cadence aside to discuss the scene. I am not sure how long she will have to be acting if Cruze is her "partner". I am a little surprised and touched at how Cadence took the news of Zane talking to Travis, her brother.

Loving these books. I'm really hoping that Cadence will stay with Zane, although she's got the lust going on with Cruze.

not sure that I'll be reading anymore of these. I am really irritated with these books that only have a couple hundred pages then leave you hanging for weeks or months until next one. There isn't enough of the story in them.
