I didn't think this series could get any hotter but I was so wrong

This book starts where the first finished which was good I was dyin 2 know what was goin 2 happen the story had so much goin on but it didn't make the story rushed or slow I have 2 say it was great I did really enjoy it I luv Gloria an Jaime's character so much they r just so made 4 each other an I wanted 2 slap/punch few people in this book they were so horrible an just really sly

I did feel so sorry 4 Gloria through this book her head was so up her ass with everything goin on at Gloria's secrets Victor bein sly an more slimy Jaime an his babe 2 every woman on the phone making Gloria doubt him it with really hard 4 her but 1 thing she did try was start away from Jaime an his sexy body an what he could do with his body but the man could make the knickers from of a nun I swear is just that good there sexy time was as hot as hell they would do it anywhere

I was help with his the story went Gloria as worked so hard an been through so much an was still goin through shit I luv the relationship she as with Kevin he will do anything 4 her there were parts where I had a lump in my throat an just wanted the HEA but then that wouldn't of been a good read I know but I do really luv Gloria an what she as done

If you've read Nelle's first book with Gloria Long and Jaime Zander, you'll understand what I mean when I say they feel like a guilty pleasure I indulge in. They are sexy, uninhibited, alpha characters that live in a world of glamour, money, and beauty. Reading Gloria's Revenge (Gloria Book 2) took me back to their world and I not only got answers to questions from book 1 but also got to escape to their world once again.

Gloria's Revenge starts where the first book left off with Gloria and Jaime in Paris. Their world is one I will never see...one with private jets, personal drivers, and everything I want at my fingertips. It is a fantasy world where I get to be a voyeur, and I loved every minute.

Gloria Long is a self made successful businesswoman and creator of the world's largest lingerie company. She gives the impression that she is unshakeable and confident, but she is hiding secrets behind her carefully put together facade. Gloria's world as she knows it is about to be come crashing down around her. The demons from her past aren't the only things she has to worry about.

She is a woman that cannot survive without complete control of everything around her. Jaime Zander is the man that shatters that control everytime he comes near her. Gloria's mind, body and heart surrender to him despite her attempts to stop them. Jaime is dead set on making Gloria trust him with those things she hides from everyone else, and he doesn't play fair. ;)

Jaime turns out to be the least of Gloria's problems in this book. Her business that she started and made such a huge success is threatening to be taken away from her. She is being hounded by the sleazy stockholder Victor Holden and his evil daughter Vivian, who is poised to take both Gloria's Secret and Jaime away from her. On top of everything else, Gloria senses that the man she has run from for most of her life is about to catch up with her. This last threat is one that Gloria and her best friend Kevin might not survive.

Let me tell you something about this series from Nelle. I loved the plot, the angst, the unbelievably hot sex and the tender moments between characters. That's not really a secret. The secret is that I loved the visuals that Nelle's writing inspired. Nelle describes Gloria's lingerie in such a way that it makes you feel giddy. Every woman loves wearing undergarments that make her feel sexy and feminine. I want to be her for the simple fact that she has matching underwear for every outfit she puts on. I mean, come on....what woman doesn't want an endless supply of out of this world sexy bras and panties along with the body to wear them. (Maybe I should add this to my Dear Santa letter :D)

Gloria's Revenge is the rest of Gloria and Jaime's story. Their struggle to hold on to their hearts and maybe their very lives is played out in the world of the rich and famous. From Paris to New York and California, Nelle L'Amour took me on a ride that I didn't want to get off of. I laughed, I cried, and I held by breath more than once. If you want to escape from life for a while and go play with the rich and famous, I suggest you read Gloria's Secret (Gloria Book 1) and Gloria's Revenge (Gloria Book 2) by Nelle L'Amour. They are smoking hot and a guilty pleasure that sucks you in from the beginning!

Gloria's Revenge (Gloria Book 2) is a 4.5 Hooker book, in my opinion. What made me give it that extra .5 is that Nelle included a part at the end from Jaime's POV and it was oh so good! I want more, Nelle! ;)

If you are looking for a delicious, sexy and fast-paced book, Gloria’s Revenge is for you! It is the continuation of the story from Gloria’s Secret and I recommend that your read Book 1 first. Gloria’s Secret is also a sexy and glamorous peek into the world of high-fashion lingerie and the hot relationship between CEO Gloria Long (YES, a female executive!) and the very handsome ad exec Jaime Zander.

This book will take you on travels around the world and I absolutely loved the bit of escapism that Nelle L’Amour offers with these books. From Paris to Beverly Hills to Santa Monica, California (some of my favorite places!), sit back and enjoy the romantic and very, very spicy tale of Gloria and Jaime as she learns to trust her heart and overcome her very dangerous past. The steam factor in this book is very high and the sex scenes do not disappoint! Will Gloria find her happy ending with Jaime? Will she be able to escape the dangerous elements that seek to destroy her? No spoilers here, but the author offers up a very satisfying conclusion and epilogue in Gloria’s Revenge. Enjoy!

I loved reading the bonus of the first chapter from Gloria's Secret in Jaime's POV when he met Gloria...

Gloria's Revenge picks up right where Gloria's Secret left off. Ms. L'Amour wastes no time in jumping right back into the story as we rejoin Gloria and Jaime on Paris's famed Ferris wheel, the Grande Roue. (If you haven't read Gloria's Secret yet this is the point where you should stop reading this review.) Jaime presents Gloria with a beautiful antique "toi et moi" ring, which immediately has her mind thinking "proposal"...except it's not. Feeling like she's been taken for a fool and just another notch on Jaime's bed post Gloria vows to bring things to a screeching halt and adopt a purely business attitude as far as Jaime is concerned. Easier said than done though, unable to keep her distance Gloria finds herself being drawn even closer to Jaime as the dreaded "L" word looms at the end of every passionate exchange. Struggling with this new "relationship", while trying to outrun her past and keep a certain pervy chairman at bay is wearing Gloria thin. Add to that the sudden plummet of her business and you've got one very stressed out Gloria. With twists and turns you'll never see coming Ms. L'Amour wraps up this riveting story with lots of drama, action and intense passion that'll have you on the edge of your seat until the very last page!

All I can say is wow. I finished this book in one sitting because I just could not put it down. Ms. L'Amour has created an amazingly admirable character in Gloria Long, I mean aside from the whole stealing from a Russian mob boss thing. Everything else she does is just fantastic! She built her business from the ground up and instead of stepping on the little people she's brought them up with her, giving back to the community and helping those who sadly get overlooked. Her charity work and business savvy ways make her a lovable heroine that you'll be rooting for whole heartedly.

Oh Jaime Zander, how I really loved to hate you this time around. You made falling for you so painful but so worth it at the same time. I love everything about this man, except for his mile long list of conquests, but we'll overlook that tidbit for the time being. He's sexy, dominant (even though he thinks otherwise), intense and an absolute genius in his field. What's not to love about him?! Oh that's right, maybe his shady-ness. He'll take you on quite the emotional roller coaster so be prepared for a bumpy ride.

The villains in this story were so easy to hate as I often found myself infuriated by their actions. Vivien in particular. I would've loved for Gloria to set that skank straight and maybe even smack her around a bit. But seeing as how Vivien is the chairmans daughter that probably wouldn't have been a good idea. I could literally picture all of her sneers and fake smiles, if I could've reached through my kindle that girl would've been in some serious trouble. Giving Victor any more of a reason to come after her isn't something Gloria wanted to do so she bit her tongue and handled that witch the best she could, which I do applaud. Sometimes taking the high road is the best approach to a difficult situation/person.

I really enjoyed the conclusion to this story. Ms. L'Amour is an undoubtedly talented author and weaves the most amazing story with her words. I'm a huge fan and look forward to reading more from her!

3.5 stars for Gloria's Revenge

This is the second installment to the Gloria's Secret trilogy and though I was hooked on the first one, this one left me feeling lukewarm.
The story continues where the first left off but the constant insecure back and forth was annoying. The maturity level of this badass business woman really put me off. The characters are interesting and the villains certainly make the story move forward but, this was the end for me. I don't see how the next part of this story fits in and have no interest in finding out.

I was offered this ARC in exchange for an honest review. Having been given the opportunity to read and review "Gloria's Secret", I am thrilled to have the chance to now read the conclusion to the story of Gloria and Jaime. Having left me hanging, I enthusiastically awaited the release of "Gloria's Revenge" and was definitely glad to finally have it in my hands.

Gloria Long, CEO of Gloria's Secret, has fallen madly in love with Jaime Zander, the CCO of Zap!, the ad agency she has hired to promote the new line of products she has helped developed for her company. Although Gloria has endeavored to fight her own feelings trying desperately not to give in to Jaime's charms, she quickly realizes she has lost the battle. As she continues to fall further and further, Gloria is barely able to focus on anything other than Jaime. But believing he has always been a player where woman are concerned, she is certain the only thing that will come out of their relationship is a broken heart.

Gloria is relieved to finally return to her home office in Los Angeles in hopes of escaping Jaime's continued and unrelenting pursuit of her to afford her the space she feels she needs to understand what she is truly feeling. But with the threat of Gloria’s past rearing up, she is overcome with a persistent uncertainty both regarding Jaime's true intentions as well as whether she can ever escape the history that may be catching up with her. The sexual tension between Gloria and Jaime is incredible, sensual and steamy, and kept me wanting more, more, more! The author also gave us plenty of emotional, pulling-on-your-heart-strings moments and a few OMG moments as well.

Bravo to you, Nelle L'Amour! This story continued to keep me enthralled and captivated never knowing what direction it would turn. I just couldn't put my iPad down, stealing every spare moment I could find to continue reading because I just had to know the conclusion of this excellent tale (but at the same time not wanting it to ever end). I was addicted and fighting every impulse of wanting to flip to the last page to relieve the pressure and intense need to know how this story was going to end. This is an excellent conclusion to this series, and I loved every minute of it!!

I was really looking forward to reading "Gloria's Revenge" i was kindly given a ARC of "Gloria's Secret" to review and was even happier to be given a ARC of "Gloria's revenge" by Nelle L'Amour

I finished the book yesterday, but didnt come to do my review till today because i felt i needed to think about it, i think its hard to review Gloria's Revenge with out giving the story away and i dont want to do that before the book is released.

The story picks up exactly where it left you, in Paris inside the Cabin on the Grande Roue Ferris, and if like me your heart was in your mouth at the end of Gloria's Secret, they will be itching to know what comes next.....well im not going to tell you that lol, i dont want to spoil it for you, but i will say you are in for a ride, you might even feel your heart is in that cabin on board the Grande Roue Ferris,because you are gonna be like "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WTF are you dong"



I feel bad saying this, but book 2 for me was even better then book 1 and i LOVED book 1.....you get to know more about Gloria and at times you think "ugh Maybe Mr Zander isn't the man we all thought he was??".

You go from Shocked, to surprised, to wanting to cry, then laugh then cry again...i swear my emotions got a workout reading Gloria's Revenge lol.....

In Chapter 8, Jaime says something to Gloria that just melted my heart, but i was yelling at my kindle "TELL HER YOU LOVE HER DUMMY" lol

Anywho i dont want to spoil any of this book for you, but i will tell you that Nelle added a "Bonus" chapter from Jaime's POV and i feel that was a good idea, i wished it was longer though, but i hope this isnt the last we hear of Gloria and Jaime.

LOVED it!! I got it all in Gloria’s Revenge. Heartbreak, joy, love, hate and humor. It picked up exactly where we left off in Gloria’s Secret. And, that was with Jaime giving Gloria a gorgeous diamond. Unfortunately, he threw me for a loop when he said it wasn’t “that” kind of ring. Yes, I know that haven’t known each other very long but dang! The way he was acting, I really thought he was popping the question!

Obviously, this has Gloria feeling hurt and very confused. She decides she needs to refocus and get back control. They have to work together to make the new campaign a success and getting it on every time they see each other is not going to get the work done. But, once she gets home from Paris she finds that Jaime Zander is the least of her worries. Someone is determined to make Gloria step down. She created the company; this is her and Kevin’s baby! So why are the stocks dropping and who is selling shares? And that nasty little *insert bad name here* Vivien is up to her games again. I would just love to slap her botoxed face! Don’t forget about Viv’s father Victor. He just gives me the creeps!

Every morning Gloria wakes up to more bad news. But Jaime is not going to let her go through this alone. He wants to help her succeed and he wants to be by her side the whole time. He’s hiding something though. And the only thing Gloria can get out of him? Trust Me. Trust isn’t something she gives freely but is willing to give him this. That is, until she walks into a restaurant seeing him and Vivien in each others’ arms!! Shut the front door! Cue the steam coming out of my ears! I had no idea what was going to happen after this and luckily Nelle didn’t make me wait tooooo long.

I have to say I loved the surprises that she gives us. Twists and turns all throughout the book! I had to take a Tums when I finished reading, I was so in knots. I fell in love with Nelle’s writing several books ago and I cannot wait to see what she has for us next! I give Gloria’s Revenge 5 heart-pounding and steamy stars!

Gloria and Jaime are on a whirlwind romance. She has fallen in love with him and his romantic ways. He gives her an antique ring that for moment thinks is an engagement ring. It's not, the ring is called a "toi et moi" ring. She immediately feels foolish and convinces herself she's just another notch in his bedpost. She decides to keep their relationship strictly business. Which you can imagine is a little challenging. They have already been so intimate and have to work with one another. Focusing on work will be the only thing keeping her away from Jaime. Things become a little tense at work, and people seem to be coming at her every which way. With her career on the line will she give into her feelings for Jaime? Will he be the one to help her or will more secrets destroy her?

Jaime is so sweet to her. I do understand why Gloria is skittish. Jaime storms into her life and changes everything for her. This woman has been through a lot. She needs someone to trust and that's not an easy task in her line of work. She has to look over her shoulder constantly and wait for the other shoe to drop. This woman deserves everything that Jaime is offering her and more. There chemistry is off the charts and she just can't control herself when she is with him.

I feel a certain emotion for Gloria. She has built her company from scratch and now she has to fight to hold on to it. There are characters in this book that you will love to hate. I won't tell you too much more because I don't want to give too much about this wonderful book away. What I can say is that this romance is spectacular. It is witty, and smart, will leave you breathless and wanting more. I have to say I wouldn't mind reading more about Gloria and Jaime. I can imagine the fun they could have. So many possibilities for an epic love story. A must read without a doubt.

I was fortunate enough to be offered an ARC of Gloria's Revenge and following the glitz, glamour, secrets and suspense of Gloria's Secret, I had high expectations. And it doesn't disappoint.

Having been left balancing on the cliff edge long enough, GR picks up exactly where GS ended. The passion, conflicting feelings, intimacy and secrecy continues, but this time there are some interesting and surprising twists. Gloria's world is seemingly crashing in around her professionally and personally, her trust is in tatters and her past is lurking in the shadows. She's vulnerable and hurt yet not without her steely determination and strength. In GS we saw Jaime move from cocky dominant to tender lover, and whilst his dominance is ever present, we see the depth of his need for Gloria and his protective side truly surface. They both remain wonderful characters with an equally wonderful chemistry, in and out of the bedroom.

I have to admit that I was expecting it to be a little longer, but it doesn't detract from a great conclusion to their journey. As always with her books, Nelle makes everything so easy to visualise and with surprises and elements I didn't see coming at all, this was another I couldn't put down. Gloria's Secret just had the edge for me, but both are books I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

So I just finished Gloria's secret a few weeks ago. If you haven't read it, you have to. Not only because I love the shit out of Nelle, but because this book is a continuation of that story. Where we are left , with that huge ass cliffhanger I was sure Jaime was up to something sinister. I was sure he was trying to hurt Gloria. I was sure he was using her. So freaking sure of myself. Way to show me I have no idea what the hell I'm talking about Nelle. I'm sitting here reading this like I know Boris is going to pop up somewhere, where could he possibly be hiding in this story. Where are you you little nasty fool!?!? Let me tell you, not where you expect. And what is going on is definitely not what you expect. I am so stunned with what went down. So stunned. I feel like I should read it again just to make sure all that shit happened and I didn't imagine it. I don't think there could have been a better ending to this book. I don't think everything could have been linked together better than it was. It was serious awesomeness with a cute pink bow on top. Gloria's secret pink of course. There is plenty of drama, heart break (I know!), jaw dropping OMG, swooning, and happy smiles in this book. You can't go wrong with this ending if you read Gloria's secret.

After reading and reviewing Gloria's Secret, Nelle sent me an arc of Gloria's Revenge to read and review. I am going to say OMG, this was a fantastic conclusion to the story. It picks up right where the cliffhanger left us in part one. Gloria and Jaime's relationship is still smoking hot and what they can do with a vibrator, lol!! I was actually on pins and needles while reading this because everything comes out: Jaime finally learns about Gloria and Kevin's past, and of course that past finds her, Evil Victor and Vivien's dealings with the company, Jaime's secret phone calls and of course how Gloria deals with all of the trouble and feelings of betrayal. I still got my thrill when Jaime says to Gloria, "come here you" in one of their sex scenes. So does Gloria get her revenge? Does her relationship with Jaime continue? You need to get the book and read it, especially if you read the first one. This was a very exciting book, I loved the way it ended in the epilogue. There is also a little surprise at the end of the story, that you are going to love, I know I did. After reading these 2 books, I will not even hesitate to read more from Nelle L'Amour.

Jaime Zander was one of the best book boyfriends! So many great lines from him. Gloria just could not fight that man's magnetism. But then again - who could?

He was a mixture of Christian Grey and Gideon Cross all rolled up with a little bit of nerdy-quirkiness. He was incredibly sexy but OH SO SMART. Intelligence is always stimulating in a man. WHEW! He was hotter than a fried egg on Georgia asphalt.

And the airplane scene? YOW-HOO! Mercy. Best line EVER was on his plane:

"Is your body f*%$ing with your mind or your mind f$%*ing with your body?" DAMN. WHOO-HOO.

Some of the things he said to her had my mouth gaping open! He had love for only one woman - Gloria.

He wouldn't have had to kick my door almost off the hinges. When he was downstairs with the security guard and he spoke through the intercom I would have said, "LET THAT PLAYA IN!"

I would recommend this series to anyone. Romance, great suspense. Ms. L'Amour is an excellent romance novelist. I've read all of her books and can't wait for more.

Okay, first off, The Mile High Club membership has never been so well deserved! Jaime and Gloria will blow you away with the raunchy, explosive sex scene in the air. Nelle certainly shows imagination when it comes to writing sex scenes and she even surpassed Gloria's Secret with this sequel.

We left the last book with a proposal of sorts. A beautiful ring. What kind of proposal? You'll have to read to find out.

Is Jaime after Gloria for her account? Or is he in it for the long term? Is he a cad or a good guy? In Gloria's Secret I just wasn't sure, but in this novel I had my questions answered.

Gloria has enemies (what powerful CEO doesn't?) This is a story about trust, loyalty and double-dealing. A plot that will keep you turning pages. Gloria's past comes back to haunt her and threaten to undo her career and we see a more vulnerable side to Gloria in this book.

Is Jaime Zander for real? Or is he a charlatan?

You'll have to read to find out!

After Jamie gives Gloria a "toi et moi" (you and me) ring, Gloria is unsure of her relationship with Jamie and works to get away from him but fate conspires against her forcing her to spend more time with Jamie than she wants. As Gloria gets back to LA she finds out that her company is under attack so she and Kevin begin damage control. Victor and Vivien continue their conniving ways keeping Gloria on edge. Jamie and Gloria have amazing chemistry and their sexual connection is off the charts but just as Gloria believes she can trust Jamie, that trust is put to the ultimate test and then demons from her past reappear. Can she escape the demons? Will Jamie be able to show that he does love her? Loved the epilogue … Sigh. Thank you Nelle for another great escape.

LOVED IT!!!! such a great sequel to Gloria's Secret. I just couldn't put it down. I read it in one day.

Now, I completely fell in love with Jaime in GS, but I must admit I did doubt him in this one but I knew he wouldn't let me down. I love Jaime and Gloria together. They have a real feistyness to them and they're (in my opinion) meant to be.

I was relieved to see certain people brought down many, many pegs! There were so many times I wished I could reach inside the book and knock vicious vs (Victor &Vivien) on their backsides. ooh they make my blood boil!

A great conclusion to Gloria and Jaime’s story; it picks up just where they left off and maintains a fast pace throughout.

The unravelling of Gloria’s carefully kept secret, and the explanations of Jaime’s behaviour provide plenty of angst. Throughout this, their scorching romance, and inability to maintain any physical distance was most enjoyable to read.

Well worth shutting out the real world and escaping into the world of high rollers and exquisite lingerie!

I received a ARC Ecopy of Gloria's Revenge. After reading Gloria's Secret, which ended in a slight cliffhanger, I couldn't wait to read Gloria's Revenge. It picked up right where Gloria's Secret left off. And I was not disappointed. This story only gets better and I seriously love the characters and their strength and how they grow throughout the book. If you haven't read Gloria's Secret yet, please read it right away so you will be ready for Gloria's Revenge. It is the perfect conclusion to Gloria's story. I will definitely read more by Nelle L'Amour!

A MUST READ SERIES! This book is book 2 in this series and it is GREAT! If you want a book that is STEAMY, RACY, SUSPENSEFUL, and has some DANGER....this is the book series for you! I don't like to tell the story so I won't but this book has great characters and the Nelle really did an outstanding job with this series! What are you waiting for get CLICKING!

This is a must read. I cannot give this enough praise.

What a very well written story. As you can tell I am a fan of Nelle. I have read several series, That Man and I just finished Butterfly and the Golden Duet before that. I need to tell you about this the second book of Gloria. As you know Gloria has built an erotic lingerie company with her best friend Kevin and they used money that they took from a Russian named Boris. She and Kevin are now in business with another slimy man Victor Holden and his selfish daughter who has had more surgery to enhance her body than any young lady should. We have come to find out that Jamie Zander is Victor's stepson and Vivien's stepbrother. We know that Gloria and Jamie have a connection and that every time they see each other the chemistry between them sizzles. This story takes place after Jamie and Gloria's return from their trip to Paris. Gloria was in Paris to bury her mentor Madame Paulette and Jamie was there to meet one of his clients. While there they fall for each other. But each have baggage from their upbringing. Jamie is scared of a woman that he loves leaving him because his mother left his father, and she has the baggage of a mother who was a whore and a crack head who had her by mistake. So now they have come back from Paris together to Los Angeles and so much happens. It is action packed filled with secrets, lies and betrayal but so much love. What did her mentor tell her "It is better to love than not love at all". It is good and we think they may get a happily ever after, but who knows. It was definitely a good read. Can't wait to read Book 3.
