Beauty Tips from the '90's-The 1890's !!

I enjoy reading books & magazines from the past, as they can educational, amusing & at times quite vexing. It's interesting to read books such as this one because not only do you look back to a simpler time, but this was especially good as there are many recipes for beauty products. Some readers will find the "science" and rationales for certain beauty or diet routines a bit silly. Others may be perturbed by the attitudes toward women of that era-I'd say "Don't worry your pretty little head over these passages, it will give you wrinkles". Just kidding!! On a serious note, the recipes for face creams, sachets & perfumes would be neat to replicate. They could make some neat gifts. I should mention that this book was available for free because volunteers thought that it would be enjoyed.
