Cold. Dry. Dead. That’s all I can think, the only thought I can hold. I’m dead. This is right... that’s what I said I’d do…
Evelyn Avest, the girl who didn't belong, was the only hope for the people and the world she loved. So she gave everything. But no light can survive the dark world of Fera. Now it's Ikovos and Jaden who venture where they shouldn't. But will the boys who don't belong be Fera's only hope, or it's destruction.
It is authors like Tess Williams that make me want to start a book blog so that I can introduce them to the world. I love her creativity, and imagination. I did want to hit my head against the wall a few times. Eve made me a little nutty in this book, but it was good. and I am so sad that I have no idea when she is going to write me a book 3! I can't believe how she ended this one.
One Word........ AMAZING! Cannot wait to read number 3. I love the way Jaden and Eve fit so well together; it broke my heart at what happens between those two but at least we know that Vos and Eve will do anything to help get Jaden back
Its getting 3 instead of 4 only because the editing was rough and the images didn't come through to my kindle upon download. So there were a few important scene where I had to guess what was happening.
Eve is so cute and sometimes a little dim- but in an adorable way. And who doesn't love tanis? Really, he is the best sidekick a girl could ask for. When sep tries to trade for him, I laughed so hard. Eve's reaction would totally be my reaction. This book was sooo long. And that was good, and bad. I got a little bored at the end because, well, I just don't really care about the "glue dudes" either. But the book was only a dollar- so, awesome value for words per penny?! I like that I didn't feel cheated- everybody knows the 200 page charge u 4.99 books that make u want to scream because they are so short. I swear that is why amazon doesn't tell us the page length of stuff on their mobile site.
It was a good book. Read it- if for no other reason than it was only a buck. Totally tween friendly. With enough angsty drama for the bad boy lovers and enough warm gooey goodness for the boy next door lovers.
Loved the creativity and world of the first book and enjoyed its characters, motivation and build. I really wanted to love this second book and even got into the the new situation Evelyn finds herself in but as I crested over the half way point I found myself having to force read my way through. It just lost the great things I loved from the first book. The editing sucked, and a good deal of the inner turmoil, which usually adds insight and motivation, was redundant, unnecessary and boring. I had such high hopes and now I dont think I can bring myself to read the third even though I'm dying to see the characters from the first book through to the end.
The first two books have a good story line but there are many typos. The conversations can be confusing due to lack of detail. I still plan on reading the third book to finish the trilogy but I'm hoping for less confusing dialog and less typos.
