I have read about the Law of Attraction before but never with a concrete way to apply it. This gives you a real action to take. It is so worth reading.

The Method has worked for me before, I did not understand what was happening or why. I do now. Thank you for for the life manual.

Relax and meditate...
By Tobias Hardy
This is an interesting take on law of attraction. And yes, Soloff is right when saying there are so many LOA books that talk about the theory, but they all lack the practical application.

To summarize what the method is, Soloff states that sitting in meditation and thinking about how abundant the universe is, it's a lot more effective than all the other ways out there. The purpose is to get your mind off your problem, because dwelling on it will only prolong the unwanted. So feeling positive and maintaining your meditations twice a day will eventually fix all the issues in your life.

Nice gem on the Law of Attraction
By Alan Petersen
I'm a bit skeptical about this subject matter but I wanted to revisit this method. There were a lot of books about the law of attraction so I'm glad I found this gem in the mix!

This book did a great job of laying the essence of the law of attraction while keeping the subject matter interesting. I really enjoyed the chronological history of the entire law of attraction movement. I had no idea it had such a long history.

terrific book with real truth and teachings!

Clear out all the misconceptions!
By Afzal (California)
This has to be the most inspiring books related to LOA. Author brings out the best in this book when it comes to Laws Of Attraction. It perfectly describes how in the world we grow the misconceptions of manifesting money in ourselves and how to get rid of those. For a better life, to get to know the perfect LOA and to make a brighter future in making money this book is a must read!

Thankyou

It is so good to read a practical application to the secret that actually puts God into the equation and not self. We can do nothing of ourselves. Thank you for writing this book.

When I first found out I won the First Reads giveaway for this, I was initially excited about this book. Many major events in my life I feel fit with the views around the Law of Attraction. However, when reading this book I was somewhat disappointed.

The book is riddled with grammar issues. I normally don't make a big deal about this but with this book only being 54 pages, I would imagine these issues could be easily corrected. For example, pages 11 and 40 have written "New Though Movement" when it should be "New Thought Movement." Being that the New Thought Movement is an important component to the history of LOA, I would think this mistake would have been easily avoidable.

I also do not believe that this is a good stand alone book for someone who wants to explore LOA deeper. This book talks about how to apply LOA in a different way than "The Secret" or other LOA books but it breezes over the foundation if LOA. The book also lacks adequate explanations to support why some traditionally used concepts are wrong. Instead, it occasionally opts for a slightly condescending approach. Example, page 22 when calling the concept of living in the moment "dumb, dumb, dumb."

The positives-

This book does have a few worthwhile thoughts that would be beneficial for anyone, whether or not they subscribe to the belief of LOA. Sometimes we do get caught up in the smallest details in life or get lost in the big picture. It is good to center oneself every now and again so that we can clear our minds to help look at a situation from a potentially new light. Many of us tend to get caught up in living our lives a certain way rather than just enjoying things as they are and letting things happen. Sometimes we have to let go of the reins we hold on our own lives and see where the unknown takes us. Finally, we can't just constantly wish for specific things in life because often what we think we need in our lives is more of a want or desire than a true need. Pursuing the wrong thing for too long is more of a hassle than a benefit to anyone. We also need to stop comparing ourselves to each other to figure out whether or not we are living our lives right. The way one person lives his or her life is not necessarily the best choice for someone else since life itself is not one size fits all.

By editing this book's grammatical errors and changing some of the approach/tone Mr. Soloff takes, this would be a much better book. I feel like his approach would be a turn off to a number of people and cause them to not hear the wonderful ideas I mentioned above. I always appreciate the hard work authors put into writing their books since it is not always the easiest task. Happy writing and reading to all.

2.0 of 5 stars – A Method That Does Not Live Up to It’s Claim
(I'm excited to have won this as a Goodreads First Read – so thanks, Scott!)

I did not get much out of this book. For those who do not know much about LOA, this may be a help, but for me it did not give me anything useful or beyond what I already know.

It is indeed a concise book of steps on applying the LOA. Yet paradoxically it’s both basic and not. It’s basic in that the steps are pretty straightforward, simplistic and nothing new. However, it does not provide much of a background and foundation for LOA that the steps are based on. It’s pragmatic, with no theory or explanation, which I think weakens the approach.

The writing style is matches the approach of the book – simple and easy-to-read. Throughout the short book, there are several changes in formatting, leaving one with a less than top professional impression. And while I don’t comment on this often, the typos and errors are a bit too much here to ignore completely.

The subtitle sets the bar pretty high with its bold claim, but overall I feel what’s presented in this book does not live up to that claim.

This was different from other books on the Law of Attraction and in some ways is more a book about spirituality. It condemns visualizations as limiting your prospects and is more about mantras and increasing your vibration. However, it includes affirmations and faith in god.
