I am typically drawn to arts & crafts floorplans, so I thought I'd do some reading about what makes them work so well -- and pretty pictures are always a good thing. However, I found the book to be mid at best. Not nearly enough photos, and not nearly enough explanation of what made the defining features of Arts & Crafts Movement, but a decent amount of information for land planning, which was nice.
Fabulous book if you want to learn about bungalows and you are not into the mcMansion mind set that the rest of the world lives in. Would love to someday build and own the Zinnia - change the brick to stone, and the siding color - that is my dream house! The Fox Tail is great also. Someday I will have a house like one of these.
Pretty standard take on bungalows. Even the interiors were just standard -- although there were several floor plans that I liked. Still, this book covers no new ground when it comes to bungalows.
