After their Caribbean holiday the pair are back in their IT world. This is the environment where they are at their best. Dar is able to use her superior technical abilities and is ably backed up by Kerry’s people skills.
I love the way their romance is interspersed with the day-to-day trials of running a large high tech business, plus the little excursions such as the fun day at Disney World

A small observation after reading the book for the second time

Part of the problem with rereading a book after you have read the whole series, is that because you know the ending, some of the decision you didn’t question when you read the book the first time, suddenly look quite poor.
I never realised that Dar & Kerry didn’t really exercise due diligence before they got involved with the Cruise company. I would have expected Dar to have done far more research into their background. This never occurred to me on my first reading but was actually quite irritating the second time around.

Not really a review, just an observation that really bothers me about a lot of authors. When you write a Spanish-speaking character, just make sure you do your Spanish right, rather than use some automated translator or (bad) personal experience. Also, Buenos Aires is in Argentina, not Brazil.

Dar's Past

This one has quite a bit of Dar's past popping up in it. There are quite a few times where it gets anxious and snarky but Dar and Kerry make it through like always
