About the author

Deborah J. Hughes

13 books147 followers
An avid reader and writer throughout most of her life (from the time she learned to do both!), Deborah took a detour from her writing dreams to pursue a career in the United States Air Force. That took up over twenty years of her life and gave her lots of experiences, some good, some bad but all of it worthwhile! Her military life now behind her, Deborah is focused on bringing her stories into existence through the production of her novels. All six books in her Tess Schafer-Medium series have made it onto Amazon's top-selling book lists for their genre. She and her character Tess have become pretty tight and she hopes to continue telling her stories for a long time to come! Not limited to just writing novels, Deborah also has a blog and it is there that she writes about a variety of topics. Her motto is: If curiosity killed the cat, reincarnation brought him back! Yeah, she believe in life after death, reincarnation and past lives...among other things. She figures it best not to limit herself when it comes to her beliefs.

I have enjoyed all of Debora's books. This one ties in nicely with her previous book. Really good.

Very good

Finally, in book three Tess discovers that some spirits carry their evil with them and has to rise to meet the challenge. Ms. Hughes again shows her knowledge of spiritual things, and the wisdom of faith. This series is extremely well written, and will satisfy spiritual people as well as those just looking for a good ghost story. This book is definitely one of the best of its kind, and I can't wait to read book four.

Wordy but good

A little wordy and more plot would be great but still enjoyable. Not sure why these are classified as thrillers because they are not scary or even tense but you do want to see what happens next.

Besides the somewhat childish declarations of love, I love the storyline and the characters.

Worth staying up for!

Great story that was hard to put down. My only criticism is that the editing was sloppy, as in quarts for quartz. Overlook it, but expect it so it won't be too much of a distraction. Bravo! Oh, and read others in series in order. Much more enjoyable!

I love how her series of books blend yet stand alone. Never ever a dull moment. The characters are real as are the ghost...This is the third in her series I've read and will continue.
