In the first book of this series we got to know Jay Link.
He’s a no-nonsense controlling alpha, tough, rough and broody, just like we like them.
In the second book, we are introduced to Noah Baxter. Which is the same guy of course, but his alternate personality. No, he’s not bipolar. His character has developed, the events starting in book 1 and escalating in book 2 started to define him, reveal the guy hiding behind his meticulously built walls and make him change his attitude towards people and life in general.
Some may say that he’s become a too shiny-happy-people-laughing version of himself, the exact opposite of his original character.
I say no! I love both sides of him and I could not get enough of him in either books.
Call me schizophrenic, I don’t care!
Lily had her moments of stubbornness, carelessness and insecurities throughout the series, but in general she was a great, strong female lead. Her character also evolved into a more mature and confident young woman.
I also loved how the number 3 was used in various ways in the series.
On a side note: I have been on a roll reading books with heroines called several variants of my name lately and I’m extremely happy to report that all of them are the bomb! How could they not?
There is no cliff here. This is the last book as far as Jay and Lily are concerned with full kick-ass epilogue and all.
However, I would be really interested in a book about

Five 'Badass' Stars
This book was so much more than five stars for me. It was everything I love in a book. The thrill, the action, the romance between Lily and Jay. It was everything.
Lily was the same badass girl from the first book, nothing could stop her from protecting Jay, even though he was the one protecting her. This made me love her even more. 'Becoming Noah Baxter' begins right where 'The Missing Link' left off, and the first part of the book Lily and Jay were separated, she went back home, where she would be safe. While Jay was waiting for 'the marker' to make his hit. There isn't a lot I could summarise, because anything said could be a spoiler. I guess the reader just has to jump into it, to find out how Lily and Jay's story would turn out.
As this book was written from both,Jay's and Lily's, point of view, I was able to connect much more with them and that's what did it for me. I was in love with the book. The action scenes were amazing, I could just picture everything playing out in my mind. The sex scenes were out of this world, because (come on) Jay is so fucking muscular and hot. He had me like:
"I'm going to kiss you now, and then I'm going to fuck you because that's all I'm cable of right now."
A lot of the book had my heart racing and maybe stopping at some point.
Especially at the last 1/4 of the book. It had me crying and I was literally having my fingers crossed for Jay.
I really recommend the 'Marked' series, to readers who enjoy thrill and suspense. I'm sure it won't disappoint.

What I liked:
1. Cody & Seth - brothers to the heroine, Lily. Funny. Protective. Awesome.
2. Jay- how he turns out in the end and how he acts.
3. The epilogue- LOVED it
4. The scene with the villain surprised me how it turned out.
5. I really enjoyed how this book moved along and kept my attention span from start to finish. It always kept me on edge and moved at a good quick pace.
6. The unbreakable connection and relationship Jay and Lily have.
7. Vault - aka Benedict Cole
I didn't care for all of the sexual parts of the book, which made up most of the story. I did love the actual story part but mostly when Jay becomes Noah and how he reacts to life.
I wish the epilogue wasn't so far in the future!! I would have loved a story about Harriet and Vault, as well as Arianna with Charlie. I feel like there's something there with these characters.

Re-read 23rd - 25th March 2021
I originally read this back in 2014 along with the previous book. I gave them both 5* and have been intending to do a re-read for awhile now.
Back then I liked The Missing Link more this time it was the other way round.
Vault and Charlie were great along with Seth and Cody.
The epilogue was fabulous and I do love a good epilogue.

The conclusion.
I first book 'Marked. Part 1' surprised me firstly that I'd had it on my kindle since last year and only just got round to reading it and secondly because it was amazing, now this book is shorter and less intense which makes it a easier read in fact I seemed to get through it in no time at all.
This book picks up exactly where the last book left off, Jay has just dropped Lily off at the airport, she's gone home while he's staying at Vault's bank trying to lure out Kolme Dragoni and although the separation is unbelievably hard on both of them they know this is the only chance they have to live an actual life together. Jay still feels Lily could do so much better than him and it's a bad time for them to be separated as self doubts rise to the surface.
I liked Jay 'part 1' even though he blew a bit hot and cold, this Jay took a bit of getting used to, I know he has to change if he wants any chance at a normal life with Lily but it's strange especially when he smiles, by choice I might add at Hattie and Jessica.
One thing I didn't particularly like about this book was 'Asswipe' relative or not considering the situation they're in and who they're up against there is no room for anyone that shows animosity towards another member of 'the team'
Which brings me onto my rating, now while I enjoyed this book it wasn't, for me quite as good as the last one but that said it's still a really good book, especially the epilogue I loved the epilogue and the dual POV's. I gave the last book 5 stars, I'd have given more if I could but obviously I couldn't so 5 it was and I've admitted that this book wasn't quite as good so following that logic I have to give less than 5, but then it's still better than some other books I've rated as 5, now you're probably thinking it's only a rating, who cares, while that's the thing I do I always try to be fair and honest so while compared solely to the previous book this is a 4.5 but in the interests of fairness I'm giving it 5 stars, makes sense? You most probably couldn't care less but I know what I mean and think that's fair, so 5 it is.
Since this is the last book in the series, can you count two books as a series? Anyway I can't finish this review without saying how much I liked some of the characters, Seth and Cody in particular and Charlie, actually now I think about this it's going to be a very long list so I'll just say I liked most of the characters and would definitely read any spin-offs, hint, hint...

AWESOME! AWESOME FOLLOW UP!
This was a great follow up from book 1 and wonderful closing to this 2 book series. I truly loved EVERY aspect of this story. I was not left wanting for anything here. The journey here, the reveals, the EMOTION! My goodness! Superb.
Though book 1 was not my fave read,(3 stars) it is crucial you read it first, in order to understand, & connect fully to what occurs here.
I HIGHLY recommend this read/series.

Incredible. This book was a thrilling, suspenseful, sexy, deep, and heart racing adventure. I cannot lie... I was a little sad to see the end of this story. Was it technically perfect? Nope. But it hooked me well enough that I think it deserved 4.5-5 stars, if only for its guts.
Jay Lincoln really did become Noah Baxter. And although I think he always was, underneath it all, it took finding Lily to really bring him out. I thought Jay was beautiful in book 1. But in this one, finally getting his POV?! Dayum!!
I loved Jay. I loved everything there was to know about him. He was badass, Alpha, cold, fierce, loyal, intelligent, sexy, loving, etc. He was THE shining star of this story. His character gave me so many swoon-worthy moments, even amidst the chaos and danger.
And when this man finally embraced life... when he realized he was free... when he shed his Killer armour... when he could finally imagine a future (with Lily)... damn, it was a thing of freaking beauty.
Again, the plot was phenomenal. NO DULL MOMENTS HERE! This author has made a spot on my list of faves.

The conclusion to this duet is as good as its predecessor, Lily is back home whilst Jay stays put, attempting to end the threats to their future happiness. She's now fully aware of everything and accepts Jay for exactly who he is and wants nothing more than to be a family. A long-distance relationship is not ideal and also having to hold back the truth from those she's close to see Lily finally snap and end the distance that separated them catapulting her right back into danger.
What I love about these two is how connected they are, how much in love and the beautiful trust they share, they're the dream team and so adorable together. I also loved the aftermath, that we got to see Jay going back home with Lily and all that entails. Then the icing was that beautiful epilogue.
This is a beautiful duet that I've enjoyed so much it's also a firm favourite of mine that I will most probably reread in the future. It's just a shame it's no longer available on Amazon for whatever reason.

And as much as I loved the epilogue, I wish it wasn't so far in the future. I would loved to have much more story about the characters that we abandon them in the bank: Arianna, Vault/Ben, Harriet and Charlie. I feel like there's more with these characters and their untold story.

Solid 5 Stars
This was much more emotional than The Missing Link Jay and Lily's separation was heartbreaking at times, Jay feelings about his feelings of unworthiness for Lily just made me so sad for him.
Thank God Lily is feisty, digs in deep and fights for them and fights anyone including Jay to keep him!! This was just as exciting as The Missing Link. The showdown between the "Marker" and Jay was sort of anticlimactic...I expected a much bigger showdown, but the amazing epilogue made up for it!!!!
I will be looking forward to more reads by J.M. Sevilla!

So I loved the first book and I thought well why not buy the second I will be just as good. Ah so to be honest I'm a bit stuck on this one. I'd have to say it deserves 3 Stars and that is pushing it.

Enjoyable and memorable read! So happy that Noah (Jay) got to live the life he wanted with Lily after all they went through in book 1 and this one. The villain, Marker (Dragoni) sure did get his in the end!
Side notes: What about Benedict Cole and Arianna's story? Can't move on to the next Baxter's next generation story without Benedict Cole's story.

I absolutely adored book 1 in the Marked series and was really excited when I got sent this arc.I may have jumped in joy..okay that's a lie because its just to cold for that shit, I did do a little wiggle in my chair! I know, I know ain't I bloody active girl!
I was going to read it later because this one it the last book in the series *sobs* but it just didn't work out that way.Since I am on the subject of this being the last book, can we have more? pleasseee? Ben and Arianna and Hattie and Charlie soo need their own book! *puppy dog eyes*

This book starts off where book 1 left off, Lily has gone home and Jay is trying to lure the marker out.It's kill or be killed.He wants her safe and away from everything as there may be a chance that he doesn't make it.They are separated and in this time you see change, their characters grow and become better versions of themselves. Lily who was at first seen as a meek and somewhat shy becomes more confident and brave.jay on the other hand wants to change, to become a better person for Lily.Nothing is that simple and as the story continues there are twists and excitement,intense scenes and pages you just can't stop turning.I was pulled in right from the start and couldn't stop reading until I had finished it.I tried to slow down, I just didn't want it to end but them my curiosity got the best of me.
“I’m afraid that somehow I’m cursed, and if the universe hears me something will happen and you’ll be taken away from me again.”
Jay struggles to become a better person, he believes that she deserves better and has no idea what she is doing with him. Their separation is difficult for both of them, Lily is always worried that Jay may not ever come back for her, what if the Marker kills him? She is trying to get on with her life but it just isn't the same without them having each other. Jay's love for Lily is more than he could have ever imagine it even overrides his hate for The Marker. His need for revenge is nothing compared to his love for Lily and he will do everything in his power to keep her safe.
“Be that man, Jay. Be the man who fights for us and will never let anything destroy what we have. Don’t doubt the love we share.”
Circumstances causes Lily and Jay to meet up again but its not easy and there is a lot of danger.Can their love survive? Or will The Markers plans break them apart forever?
New characters were introduced and I wanted to know more about them as well as old characters returning.We find out more about Ben and Arianna as well and I need more! Since reading book 1 I have had a soft spot for Ben and my heart hurt for him and I wanted to see things change for him.
I recommend this series to everyone who wants an intense, thrilling, action-packed journey filled with love, revenge and much much more!

4.5 Drifting Stars!
Well, well, well... Our book boyfriend is back with a vengeance this time around and sexier than EVER! Just when you think you couldn't love our sexy assassin Link/Jay/Noah anymore? Think again!
It's not a secret that Jay and Lily have to separate for safety measures. It completely ripped my heart out that Lily is forced to go home without means of communication from Jay until he calls her. She is much stronger in book 2, has her amazing friends and family around her and makes it work. Jay has also learned to accept that he is human and has feelings now and can accept them thanks to Lily. But during their time apart, they are both suffering and Lily's emotions are all over the place, second guessing everything.
That is, until she can take no more. Jay is Lily's everything and she isn't afraid of danger. She is worried about Jay getting hurt and needs him to be with her no matter what they are put through. They are in it together.
Their reunion is amazing and it couldn't come fast enough! With these two, you never know where they will do it; Jay is a sex machine, and it is love making with a pure carnal hunger for each other.

It's not a secret that Jay and Lily have to separate for safety measures. It completely ripped my heart out that Lily is forced to go home without means of communication from Jay until he calls her. She is much stronger in book 2, has her amazing friends and family around her and makes it work. Jay has also learned to accept that he is human and has feelings now and can accept them thanks to Lily. But during their time apart, they are both suffering and Lily's emotions are all over the place, second guessing everything.
"The pain of her absence makes me even more aware of how much she's become a part of me. How did this even happen? How did I let myself fall in love like this. I don't understand how the absence of her makes it hard to breathe."*swoon*
That is, until she can take no more. Jay is Lily's everything and she isn't afraid of danger. She is worried about Jay getting hurt and needs him to be with her no matter what they are put through. They are in it together.

Unfortunately this book was a bit of a disappointment for me. I was expecting so much more from this book and it just fell short of expectation. I was anticipating some thrilling action scenes and a dramatic build up to the stand off between the Marker and Jay. A majority of this book was filled with repetitive love scenes and an anticlimactic "duel" (if you can even call it that) that ended before it even began. I had such high hopes, but unfortunately when too much sex is used as a filler for a plot there's not much you can do. One thing that really bothered the shit out of me was that the author was constantly misspelling Naomi's (Lily's friend) name! Sometimes on the same page..shit sometimes in the same paragraph! I kept wondering how it was possible to miss it when only a sentence before you'd been calling her Naomi and then immediately after spelling it Noami. If it were just a few times I'd have been able to get over it but I counted at least 10! Furthermore, Ariana's (or was it adriana?) actions with Jay so soon after what had happened to her were just completely unrealistic. I don't know how it would be possible for someone to do that so soon after what was done to her. It just didn't make sense to me.
The epilogue was the only thing that I really liked. Oh, and the fact that a problem I had with the first book was addressed (albeit briefly) early on in the book.

I refused to read this series until this second book was released. I hate cliffhanger endings and so happily waited for both to be available. So glad I did. Awesome books. I couldn't put my Kindle down. It's gone midnight and I have to be up for work in 5 hours but I HAD to finish Lily and Jay/ Noah's story. Action packed and passion filled. Fantastic epilogue. Read these books . Just make sure you don't have an early start the next day! Enjoy.

I can't begin to describe how much I loved this story.
Loved the characters, even the supporting character. There was never a dull moment or a part I wanted to skim through, it always had my full attention...especially those sexy scenes. *Sigh* Jay stole my heart!

(This rating is for both books)... Ya know how sometimes when you’re at a fancy restaurant or banquet and order something you love but never usually make at home because it’s too expensive - like prime rib or filet mignon ... only to be disappointed when you get it because it’s mostly fat and/or maybe overlooked a bit? Well this book gave me that feeling... it could’ve been really good but was overdone and had too much filler....
First off, I hate cliffies... they are stupid and serve no purpose other than to sell more books. The thing is, I know there are tons of readers like me who avoid cliffies like the plague, so they’re actually losing sales and would probably do better if they just kept the story limited to one book and charged a higher price in the first place ... Had I realized the was a cliffy/series I definitely would’ve skipped it...
Secondly, I totally could not grasp the attraction Lily felt for Jay... at first she was scared to death of him and then after he saved her she’s all of a sudden attracted to him then? it didn’t seem believable to me and I wish there was more relationship development there. The pushing away by the H also got old quick... and the sexy scenes (while hot for the most part)were too excessive and at times a little gross...
I did like the mystery/suspense parts of the book for the most part but again it was messed up with the overkill... The Arianna storyline and the climatic scene with the Marker were just too OTT and unbelievable.
The ending/epilogue were ok but again a tad to overdone. - triplets? Seriously? It took the #3 theme too far - so that’s the rating the books are gonna get from me.

Gitte: The second and final instalment in the Marked series did not disappoint did it Jenny?! It tied up all loose ends and the emotion was so palpable towards the end I had to clutch my heart. Oh and the epilogue was so brilliant, one of the most satisfying and heart-warming I’ve read in a while after such an arduous thrilling journey.

I actually preferred this one to book #1 as the characters showed such depth and the emotion was so intense. The drama and thrilling action; the passion and the romantic element made this such an enjoyable read. Oh and I have to say that I loved the fact that Jay was allowed to be vulnerable and show a more softer side as it suited his journey till the end perfectly, despite his bad arse sexy alpha side. I thought it was perfectly balanced.

The scene that really stood out for me as being a proper winner both emotionally and poignantly was the scene where he faced his nemesis, finally. Wow, well played J.M; it was harrowingly beautiful and emotional.

We don’t want to say too much do we, Jenny as this is the concluding part. However, watching Jay trying to get his life back, realising the meaning of true unconditional love, well, it was really quite something. Also, I really preferred Lily in this one as she’s grown so much, she shows real maturity and she embraces her kick arse nature. Oh and she did it with style and sass with the help of few weapons!
Jenny: It certainly did deliver G. It had everything we could want in the conclusion to Jay and Lily’s story and ohhh that epilogue! Sigh….just wonderful.
In Becoming Noah Baxter, we were to witness a different side to Jay. Whilst we saw the change in him as book one progressed, it was far more apparent in Noah. Jay was a little as a loss with what was transpiring and trying to keep it all together definitely showed us a very vulnerable side to this very complex, gruff man. How do you live a life such as Jay had, how do you live with what tortures you day in day out? Watching Jay fight his internal battles and his emotional battles was enthralling and I loved this book. This final instalment gave us answers and a whole lot more.
‘Do I even know how to be normal? No, I sure as fuck don’t. I’m going to try though, I have to try. I have to win, I don’t have a choice, Lily owns me heart and soul.’ – Jay
Lily was definitely better in book two. In book one she tended to grate on me but this time I found her to be a much stronger character, and her cheekiness and forthrightness amused me. Nothing stopped Lily saying what was on her mind or asking those probing questions. Her love for Jay and her overriding desire to help this man find his internal peach made for some captivating reading.

G&J: So yes, we can definitely recommend this two-part series. It’s full of drama, revenge oh and romance and hot passion. Yet it’s beautiful and emotional too. We fell in complete love with Jay.

The journey starts off with The Missing Link which in some aspects sets the scene, for the revenge with the fast paced horror, the emotionless and the violence. And of course the dark killer persona of Jay. Then follows Becoming Noah Baxter which highlights Jay’s emotional side, the side that loves beyond the personal war, the personal struggle and brings forth the romance. It’s very clever and well executed.

If you love thrills, hard-arse bad lads and quirky kick arse heroines then this is a series for you. Albeit a ‘slow to develop’ story it is SO worth it in the end!! The epilogue ROCKED!!
Now for a personal note to J.M: If you read this review, we would LOVE Ben’s story and Charlie’s too pleeeaaaaseeee!!!!!!

I expected more: suspense,thrill, crime, creepy feelings, feeling someone's watching me, drama, fights, guns, blood, psycho Dragoni stalking and mind games...
First book was awesome, it was thrilling and intently.
This sequel was 60% boring, Lily and Jay keep repeating how they miss/love/lust each other, or doing it.
Then, we got some action, which was...ugh... shallow and unbelieveable.
Then again, all, lovey-dovey with Lily and Jay. And epilogue after 17 years...ugh. Was just too perfect and too much.

I was a little underwhelmed by the sequel. I was expecting a lot more action and suspense seeing that Jay is now determine to settle the score with the evil Dragoni, so that he can reunite back with Lily.
The truth is there is even less suspense compare to Book 1. Even though I like reading how Lily and Jay are working on maintaining their distance relationship and how when they were finally reunited there is so much love between these two that there is nothing that can tear them apart, I was actually looking forward to the appearance of the Dragoni. I want to see how Jay gonna kick his ass. But the way things settled was totally anti-climatic. I was like 'That's it?!'
Together, Jay and Lily are really mushy. If not because I really love them both from Book 1 and care for their HEA, I wouldn't have even rate this one 3.5.
Nonetheless I was happy with how things end for Jay and Lily. He really deserve living out his life in the peaceful suburbs. The epilogue was really sweet and I actually hoping J. M. will write spin off for Ben Cole or Charlie.
Fans of Jay and Lily should this sequel despite having not enough action because if I were to focus on the romance, it was actually a really satisfying read.

Ummm...I may be revising my rating on the first in this series. The H is really not likable for the first 10% of this book.
The first 30% of this was a yawn fest just getting the h to head back to San Fran w/o the H's knowledge.
Hijinks ensue... *eye-roll*
I love how she just swept the whole "He's with his girlfriend, Ms. Evans." under the rug in her rush to get him into bed. Then she's all sure of their relationship and immediately not threatened...what the hell...doesn't she know she's in a romance novel? Where's the drama in that bit of maturity?
The best part again was Benedict "Vault" Cole... *heart pounds*
Alas, he was not enough...I skimmed this bitch...and not sorry. This should have wrapped up in one book. This just detracts from the first. And now I'm sure I'll never get Mr. Cole's story...and THAT feels like a crying shame ;)

I loved it. I read this 2 book series in less than 2 days. Any chance got, I picked it up.
I usually do not care for sequels that involve the secondary characters, but I would love "Ben" to have his story. The woman for him cannot be a greedy skank. She has to be as lovable of a character as Lily, but be closer to "Ben's" age as well.
I loved Lily and Jay. The last 25%, I could not put down. I think I found a new author to check out for any new books.

The first one was kick ass though! I loved it.

Like I said on my review of book one, these are a 99-cent treasure and those are hard to find!
The story picks up right after the plethora of events at the end of book one. Jay stays in San Francisco in order to fulfill his long-time awaited vengeance and, Lily goes back home. They miss each other and you know their love is strong; therefore, the hope for them to overcome anything that’s thrown their way is obviously there.
The book is written in dual POV’s and I loved being inside Jay’s head. You can see how he struggles to find the balance between the positive emotions Lily has arisen in him: the hope, longing, love, self-worth, peace… and the dark emotions that brewed deep inside him for so many years: need for revenge, aggression, sadness, guilt and the killer instinct. Everything he’s ever known is changed abruptly by the power of love (yes, it sounds cheesy and clichéd but I don’t care). Jay is trying to fulfill his lifetime goal, so he can be with Lily peaceful.
Lily is back home, trying to live a normal life and she’s doing a fair job at it. Her friends, Naomi and Stevie have issues of their own and are suffering due to buried feelings. Jay calls, Lily beams with excitement until one day Naomi messes up and Jay stops calling her. Something else happens, Lily just goes berserk, hops on a plane, and off to SF she goes!
From there the story unravels, you get to see Lily and Jay build a relationship and push the steam up a notch, which was OH so rewarding!!! I loved dirty/sweet little Jay!!! He was tender and sexy and he didn’t hide his emotions from Lily. He needed her, he craved her, he loved her and Lily just gave herself freely and helped him heal throughout the book.

I totally recommend this book if you like a romantic story with a touch of dark, crazy assassins, strong females and intriguing characters.

I love sexy Jay Lincoln, I have a major crush on him and I love this series so much!!!

Summary
So we know Lily had to go back home because it wasn’t safe. I usually cringe when the Heroine and Hero must separate, but this time, I was okay with it. I think it’s because the author made the villain so evil, it was Lily’s best interest to go back home.
Lily is dealing with the separation and Jay and dealing with the crazy Marker. There is some slight separation, but it wasn’t bad because there’s plenty of interesting plots to keep you interested.

I love the villain, he’s so crazy. The thing I really enjoyed most about this book was when the author got into the grit of the story and I got to know the Hero at a deeper level. There are flashbacks, but story-telling, which was perfect for me. Once you get the history, you will feel so much for Jay, it’s just so sad and tragic, yet beautiful.
Lily deals with the separation, but their relationship is very unique. She’ can’t call him or reach out in anyway, so she is a sitting duck. She doesn’t talk about her relationship with her friends, so no one understands, but the few moments she does speak to Jay, its mixed bliss.
Jay is stressed out, he has to deal with the Maker and he’s dealing with not being with Lily. Jay is an alpha male and I love how crazy dominate his character is in this book. You can tell he loves Lily and I love getting his POV.
Like I said, I love this series. It’s everything I want in an action, “killer” romance type of read. I recommend!

I love the villain, he’s so crazy. The thing I really enjoyed most about this book was when the author got into the grit of the story and I got to know the Hero at a deeper level. There are flashbacks, but story-telling, which was perfect for me. Once you get the history, you will feel so much for Jay, it’s just so sad and tragic, yet beautiful.
Lily deals with the separation, but their relationship is very unique. She’ can’t call him or reach out in anyway, so she is a sitting duck. She doesn’t talk about her relationship with her friends, so no one understands, but the few moments she does speak to Jay, its mixed bliss.
Jay is stressed out, he has to deal with the Maker and he’s dealing with not being with Lily. Jay is an alpha male and I love how crazy dominate his character is in this book. You can tell he loves Lily and I love getting his POV.
Like I said, I love this series. It’s everything I want in an action, “killer” romance type of read. I recommend!

Fantastic! A perfect conclusion to Jay & Lily's story.
I have to say this again & again... I'm in love with this series! I adore Jay, Lily & their story. It's thrilling, unpredictable & it kept me on my toes. Couldn't put this down.
This book takes up immediately after The Missing Link. It starts with Jay & Lily trying to survive apart. And it's hard. Naturally, it didn't last too long. Their reunion's explosive, like how it always is between these two. Jay & Lily has an intense & all consuming kind of love. Their love scenes are scorching hot! STEAMING.
But life is just not simple, even when they want it to. The Marker's catching up with them. The rest of the story flows fast, captivating & phenomenal! I love Jay, his strength & vulnerability. I love Lily. She's a tiny fireball! The last few chapters stole my heart. I love how Jay tried everything for Lily. The epilogue's just perfection!
This series has to go on my faves shelf. A definite MUST read!

First let me start by saying that you must read part 1 in this series first and to enjoy part two you should really read them close together. The reason I say that is because I read part 1 last year and I remember really enjoying it, so I finally decided to finish this series and read part 2. Unfortunately for me the adrenaline high from the end of part 1 wasn't there anymore and I found myself bored and annoyed for most of part 2. I honestly felt this story didn't need to be two parts because part 2 was just them apart and then together with lots of sex thrown in. I did like the whole Marker's end, not what I expected so I enjoyed it.
