MANIC DEPRESSIVE. ALCOHOLIC. WRITER.
Meet Frank Denver, a lonely writer…who can no longer write. His first book was a success, but that was a lifetime ago. Now, Frank can hardly string a sentence together…until he has an eerie encounter with a strange man who happens to be in the business of ‘helping people’. The stranger offers Frank the solution for his problems, though he wants something in return. Little does Frank know – his life is about to change forever, as he embarks on an unforgettable journey into the darkness. Rancid is the first part of a dark, gritty trilogy which will leave you wanting more.

Great read and well written. I was interested from start to finish. Grant Jolly has a way of taking his warped and twisted mind and adding it to paper with great effect. Can't wait to see more from him :)

Quirky, straight forward narrative with a dark twist. Memorable protaganist who's feelings are easily relatable. All in all a great read and well worth a look.
