Wow. If anyone is looking for a gateway book into psychicness.. There can't be a better book than this one. I picked this up by chance, thinking that it would be kind of 'hokey pokey'-- BIG mistake. This book touches on so many aspects, tying spirituality in, and it makes it clear that psychicness is actually a natural part of our human existence.

I am reading this through the second time.. Can't recommend it enough!

This book belonged to my mom, who passed away two years ago. She was an avid Harlequin novel reader, so it seemed out of place among her possessions, but she’d gone through something of a spiritual revival before she was diagnosed with lung cancer.

There’s probably no chance I would have read it if not for her. My idea of psychic powers was pretty Hollywood-ized (think crystal balls and spoon-bending). I see now that it’s actually more about accessing a dimension of reality that’s always been there - we’ve just been taught that it isn’t, even though science is constantly proving that the mind isn’t what it seems.

Fans of meditation, dreaming and psychology will love this book. I’m actually sad that it’s finished and I’ll probably check out more by this author.

Well written and insightful. If you want the short version. Prayer and Meditation is the path to psychic awareness. How you get there depends on how much you do. I don't think many of us will get there by reading a book. Prayerful study of the scriptures, living a Christlike righteous life, and following in his footsteps are the only way to become more like him. Few have walked so closely to his path. But trying to is all part of the plan and is what makes us human.

Good book, but it was the 4th or 5th book I had read on psychic intuition so I was almost feeling like I was reading the same thing over and over, but not to the authors or book's detriment.
For beginners, I would very much recommend this book.
Henry Reed does a lot of Cayce's books and is a very good writer.
