It was alright.
Most of the useful content is in Chapters 8 and 9, dealing with exposure and color, which I found quite informative.
A lot of the book feels outdated, though. That's pretty much inevitable given that it deals with technology and is several years old at this point.
I'd only recommend it if you're looking for an all-in-one resource. Otherwise, most of the information can probably be found elsewhere in a more up-to-date format.

Ideal when new to the camera.
Also perfect for someone totally new to DSLR cameras. Great for getting to know its many features and finding out in what way you like to use them most - for there is often more then one way to get to the different settings.
Easy to understand, even for non native speakers.
With just a pinch of humor here and there that makes it a relaxed read.

Newby
Seems to be an excellent book for beginners. However, there's far to much to take in by just reading. Get the basics down then expand your reading and your abilities with the camera.
