Are you kids fighting a lot this summer?
Justine is almost ready for bed when she finds out- her bear is missing! Not long after, she discovers her brother, Benjy, is the one who took it without permission! Justine is not going to stay quite about this...

What is Justine going to do make sure he'll never do such a thing it again? How will they go back to being friends again?

Give it back! is the third book by the bestselling author Shimrit Nothman, writing about conflict resolution for kids.

This book has a twin book: "No, it's mine" , which tells the story through Benjy's eyes. And like in life- these two stories sound nothing alike...

Give it back! is the second book in the series: Conflict resolution for kids.

This series of books focuses on common conflicts and arguments our children will likely encounter early on in their lives. Power struggles over choosing clothes, bedtime, and sibling rivalry are just some of the subjects discussed in this series, through an engaging story and colorful illustrations.

These stories can assist parents in addressing a particular argument, or in teaching the children various methods of conflict resolution, and all in a fun way.

This two part book Give it Back! and No, it's mine! Caught the attention of my children. My son even asked for it again a few weeks after our first reading. Both times we were able to engage in good conversation about thinking things through and working things out with your siblings. It is good for showing empathy and I think my son will eventually catch on to that.

This book is for ages three to five, when siblings spend lots of time arguing. This book aims to help kids calmly handle their arguments without bloodshed. Getting kids to manage their conflicts is a skill all parents encourage. Justine asks her animal friends to suggest ways to handle her conflict with her brother. Their answers show that there are multiple ways of resolving problems. Justine thinks about the possible solutions and decides which one is best for her.

Encouraging kids to think of ways to solve their problems is something we should encourage them to do. It is an essential skill for everyone, and books that help kids learn to manage conflicts are valuable tools.

A delightful story, with good colorful illustrations, about how Justine solves a conflict with her brother Benjy. Justine, takes advice from her three favorite doll toys, and then puts her plan into action! Your children should find this book very engaging. This short book also includes a Parents' Guide, which outlines useful pointers, for reading this story with your children!
