Part One Cannon Arrington has pushed aside a social life to dedicate his time to medical school, extracurricular activities, and helping others … that is, until he lays his eyes on the angelic face of Yasmine Dubose. For Cannon, meeting her was a breath of fresh air. Something about the bubbly, sexy teacher makes him realize he needs to stop and smell the roses. Yasmine has had a crush on Cannon since high school, but he’d never noticed the nerdy freshman. Now she’s blossomed into a woman who’s full of life. She knows Cannon’s drive for success is important to him, but she fears he’ll become even more of a workaholic than her father, who died when she was a child. Will Cannon settle down and learn how to balance his career and love life, or will he lose the simply amazing woman who has stolen his heart? Part Two Dr. Cannon Arrington’s mission is to help people in need. But when his ex fiancée re enters his life after twelve years, he has a new mission. Never let her get away again. Yasmine Dubose never stopped loving Cannon. Instead, she learned to live without him, guarding her heart in the process. However, when they are brought together to plan a wedding for their best friends, Yasmine is faced with the challenge of following her heart this time around or risk losing the only man she’s ever loved.
Candace Shaw writes romance novels because she believes that happily-ever-after isn’t found only in fairy tales. When she’s not writing or researching information for a book, you can find Candace in her gardens, shopping, reading or learning how to cook a new dish.
She lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her loving husband and is currently working on her next fun, flirty and sexy romance.
I loved the storyline of Cannon and Yasmine. They always say if it’s meant to be, let him go and he will return to you. The couple get engaged but Cannon not being able to say no puts their relationship in jeopardy. A typical man thinks a woman will wait for him no matter what. You have to read to see what happens next.
I really enjoyed reading Cannon and Yasmine's complete story, "Only One for Me". The story followed very easily from beginning to end, even with all the pink and green, lol. I loved the character chemistry, even with the supporting charters. I can't wait to read Raven's story, the next up in this series from Candace Shaw! T
There was nothing to dislike about this story. Cannon and Raven relationship does hit a stumbling block that result in them ending their relationship. But after twelve years, they do find a way back to each other with a purpose of never leaving each other. There is a well deserve happy ending.
Cannon and Yasmin's story started out Great! Then things changed because priorities can be a little misconstrued! But Fate has a way of setting courses on different paths. It's great when Fate redirects paths bath to one another! I do believe everyone who reads this book will enjoy it! ! definitely recommend this book/series to everyone!
Candace Shaw has an amazing series with the Harrington family. Yasmine and Cannon will have you laughing and shaking your head while you ride the roller coaster of their relationship.
This couple worked all my emotions. I laughed, cried, prayed and rejoiced that they finally got it right. Very good read and I am glad all the other family members were included.
Misunderstandings kept getting in their way but they finally got it together. Doug and Sherita's wedding was a set up to bring them back together. Loved it. Yaz.ine tried to fight it , really?
I enjoyed reading this second chance romance. There's something to be said for maturity. The problems that tear most young couples apart, don't have the same destructive power with mature adults. Especially if they practice open and honest communication.
Very good story, actually the series has been a great story with wonderful writing! Enjoyable and light, anticipating the next in the series as well as other books the author has written.
This is the 4th book I read by Candace Shaw. This book's storyline was okay. I liked Yasmine's character. I liked Cannon's character I liked the updates on the others. I liked the ending.
Enjoyable read. Twelve years is a long time to be miserable... There was a lot of repeating information that was unnecessary, one Example is the background for Yasmine.
Another great addition to this wonderful series! Candace Shaw and the Arringtons are definitely among my faves.
I really enjoyed Cannon and Yasmine in Simply Amazing, and was eager to find out what caused their breakup and long separation. I follow the author on Twitter, and although she teased us unmercifully with excerpts, I refused to read anything until I could read the whole story. She definitely didn't disappoint! Good storyline, memorable characters, and lots of heat - all the makings of a good story. I must confess that I do wish that the story were longer - another sign that i enjoyed the book.
I'm assuming that Ravens's story is next, and I already can't wait. Get to work, Ms. Shaw!
Great return to love story. Cannon and Yasmine are thrown together to plan a wedding for their best friends and realize their (Cannon & Yasmine) love is still strong and will not be denied. Each realize they want to resume their relationship but must discuss the issues from the past before they can embrace their destiny. Will Cannon succeed in re-winning Yasmine's trust and heart, readers will need to download this installment and find out.
I liked this book. I liked the way that the characters Yasmine and Cannon were a great combination. They were both intelligent people, but from two different worlds. That's actually what made their relationship stronger. I also enjoyed how it brought the other Arringtons into the mix. Well written. Keep up the good work.
It's been twelve years since Cannon Arrington and Yasmine Dubose broke up. Now their best friends are getting married and they are the best man/maid of honor. Cannon's mission is to not let her get away again. Yasmine still loves him, but is guarding her heart. This time around they have to decide to follow their heart or lose each other again.
I couldn't wait to read this after reading a snip of their beginning. I was really rooting for them but I was too disappointed to read the true nature of their relationship. Cannon and Yaz being thrown back together at another stage in their lives was perfect. I really enjoyed this one.
Cannon Arrington and Yasmine Dubose's full story and how amazing it was. This couple truly complimented each other. So giving and willing to sacrifice their happiness to help others. So glad they were able to work through their problems and get their happily ever after. A great read and purchase.
Candace Shaw is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors! Cannon and Yazmine traveled a long and rocky road. I'm happy about the way this booked ended. Off to read Book 4!
I enjoyed Cannon and Yasmine's story. Too bad they had to wait 12 years to realize they truly belonged together. I'm also happy that they finally got married and are starting a family!
I remember vaguely liking this book. I read it about a year ago but for some reason I can't recall what it's about. I do remember it being a little rushed and wanting the heroine to be more independent than she came off. Cutesy, quick read.
CANNON AND YASMINE'S STORY WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD! I LOVET THEM! THIS IS THE THIRD BOOK IN THE SERIES AND LIKE THE FIRST TWO I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN... ON TO THE NEXT ARRINGTON I GO!!
