This is a sweet book about finding new friends - Terry has a new tree house and now he wants to find friends to share the fun with him - He meets lots of new animal friends along the way and even if they can't come right now he is happy as he progresses on his journey to find friends that can play now - he even helps one in the end.

I like the illustrations and the bright colors - I think this is a great book for kids to read with their parents - new friends are hard to find some days but Terry makes the best of it - I would have liked him to meet some human friends also to share his tree house with - if your child loves to be read too or with this is a sweet book to try.

I was given the opportunity to review this book and so I downloaded it for my 3 boys ages 9, 7 & 3. The 3 year old loved it and I am sure we will be reading this book many times. My other two found it entertaining as well.

I liked that the illustrations are cute, bright and colorful. The colors really popped on the kindle. This is such a sweet and happy story about a little boy looking for friends. It teaches that sometimes making friends is not easy, but to never to give up. It becomes educational along Terry’s journey to find a friend when the animals he meets are all busy doing something important, such as: “Betty the Bee” was busy filling jars with honey and couldn’t play. My 3 year old wanted to know why the bee was filling jars with honey, and I explained that bees are where we get honey from. I liked that every animal that Terry meets teach the listeners of the story the importance of what they do in their “life”. Of course, the cutest animal I thought was “Kitty”, who was crying and stuck in a treetop. Terry is the best tree climber (hence the name) and so rescues Kitty.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I love the pictures in this children's storybook. They are bright and colorful and I like Terry's patched up pants and shirt. This is a cute story book and the text flows easily when read aloud. Terry does a heroic deed at the end winning him the friends he has been seeking.

The only reason I liked this book instead "loving" it was I thought that Terry could have made more of an effort from the very beginning to be a friend. He passes all these animals who are hard at work hoping one of them will come to his new tree house to play. Not once does he offer to help them which seemed like the logical way to make a new friend.

When reading picture books I prefer to have pictures on the screen at all times to hold children's interest. All the pictures in this story are square and then the text appears below the picture. This works fine when there is limited text but there are several times when the amount of text if too long so it flows onto the next page leaving only a bunch of text to be read.

I received a review copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Terry Treetop is a special character. He is one that kids easily relate to and form a bond with. In some ways he reminds me of Dora the Explorer, but without the backpack. Terry decides what he wants to do and goes out to find the best way to accomplish this task. In Terry Treetop Finds New Friends, Terry is so excited to have a new tree house! He finds that his tree house is lonely by himself, however, and he goes off to look for someone special to share it with.

His journey to find someone to share his tree house with taught him and his friends some valuable social lessons. The lessons learned in the Terry Treetop books are exactly the reason I keep coming back to these books. A good book that teaches social skill lessons in a way that preschool and kindergarten age children understand is a real gem in today's children's book market. Any story is only useful and good if the children are excited by it and willing to listen to it. My 4 year old loves to listen to Terry Treetop's adventures and my 5 year old (he turns 6 this week!!) is using Terry Treetop to learn to read!

A cute story about Terry Treetop and the friends and values he meets along his adventures. It is a cute story and has wonderful, vivid illustrations! The story is written for children around the ages 3-8.

The story follows Terry throughout a journey as he searches for a new friend. The animals (with great names! Betty the Bee, Shelly the Sheep, Cherry the Chicken, and Kelly the Cow) he meets are all too busy to be Terry's friend and he continues searching for someone. Terry finally decides to head home and finds a kitten stuck in a tree. Finally a friend! Terry uses his fantastic skill of climbing trees to reach the Kitty and save him! All of the characters go back to his treehouse

The illustrations were very well done, bright, and engaging. They helped to tell the story along with the words, which helps drawn the younger readers/listeners into the story.

This is another beautifully well written Terry Treetop book by Tali Carmi… Terry was alone, so he went on a journey to find new friends to invite to his new tree house...Making friends, however, it is not as easy as it seems...Little Terry goes around but every animal he meets is busy doing something productive. This is how Terry will eventually learn, and your little ones along with him, how to be self motivated, how to persist and not to give up, and how to give and receive Love :)

This is a cute story that will inspire and entertain your children...My little one loves this series, and this book was received with the same enthusiasm as the previous ones from the series. Terry Treetop Finds New Friends has been written for children 2 to 8 years old…It has simple easy to understand text and cute colorful illustrations. It is an excellent book and I highly recommend it!

This adorable ebook is about a little boy with red hair and freckles named Terry.

Everyone calls him Terry Tree Top because of his love of climbing trees.

This ebook is so cute and has the most adorable illustrations in it. Very bright and colorful.

Absolutely a joy to read to my little one.

Each page only has a few words on it so she stays interested and focused on each page.

I love that the story teaches kids never to give up making friends.

This ebook makes a great book to read right before bedtime. Very relaxing and so easy to understand.

This ebook is for children ages 2-6.

I received this product free from Tomoson.com to review in exchange for my 100% honest opinion.

I was delighted by Terry Treetops Finds New Friends by Tali Carmi. Written for Children 2 years - 6 years old, there are several opportunities for parent child/discussion. Terry Treetops loves climbing trees and his dad picks Terry's favorite tree to build a treehouse for him. It isn't very long before Terry realizes that his treehouse would be much more fun if he had a friend to enjoy it with. He decides to go on a journey to find a friend and meets several well illustrated animals. However, each one is too busy to go back with Terry Treetops to play. Instead of helping his new friend with his work, he chooses to go on his way, missing a chance to be a good friend. In the end, Terry learns an important lesson about his strengths and about friendship. I highly recommend this book.

Rosalie wasn’t overly interested in looking at the pictures or listening to this book being read to her, because honestly, at 18 months old, I think she is a lot more interested in touching & turning the pages of a physical book! However, my boys enjoyed reading this book for their reading minutes that they have to do for school every day!

Michael did enjoy being able to read it to Rosalie, however, he was finished with it quite quickly. He’s a pretty advanced reader (4th-5th grade level and only in 2nd grade) so he always seems to gravitate towards chapter books already!

Connor did enjoy it and he said that it taught him more about friendship than what he previously knew!
This is a good book to get, especially if you’ve got a 3-4 year old who enjoys being read to!

I found this book to be a total joy to read. The pictures went very well with the story and was very entertaining. I actually felt bad for Terry in the beginning because everyone seemed to be so busy and no one had time to play with him. However in the end everything seemed to work out just perfectly.
As a mother I really like that the author use really easy words that made early readers want to help their parents read the story. A lot of authors say that their books are suitable for self-read, but then use some words that are more leveled at a higher group of readers than the targeted age. Whereas our author nailed the age and reader level perfectly. Such a well done book.

This was one of the ebooks I got on Amazon and read to my son. When it comes to story times my son can be a bit antsy, so we always go for short stories. He loves being read to and asking questions but after 5 pages he wants to sleep or do something else lol. I Love this story because it teaches kids to not give up. The book was easy to read and for my son to follow. A must for those nights you are too tired to read but still must heheheh

I really did enjoy this sweetly written book. This maybe classified as a children's book, but there are some adults that could benefit from the message of this book.

So sit down and enjoy this book with the family. It is a great read, and well illustrated.

Terry still loves climbing trees. His dad built a tree house for him so he sets out to find some friends to play in the tree house with him.

You'll meet Betty the bee, Shelly the sheep, Cherry the chicken, Kelly the cow, and Kitty.

It's a story that is a little sad but also joyful. Once again the illustrations are fun and colorful. I like Terry and I think you will too.

Book Review: Terry Treetop Finds New Friends @tbcarmi Fabulous Cover and Story

Terry Treetop Finds New Friends carries a cheerful cover. Probably that is a good start to cheer up any kid who would be laying his hands on the book. And as we all know that every one of us has a kid inside irrespective of the age. So that way the book is good to lay hands on for anyone and everyone.

The cover has a cheerful Terry (the hero of the story) and a beautiful cat he is holding in his hands and touching cheek to cheek. The cat has a cute ribbon in her hair, wide beautiful and charming eyes; and a cute curly tail. The cat has cutely placed her one hand on Terry's arm and other on his cheek. The book has been written by Tali Carmi who is CEO of a software company but has a passion for writing for young kids. She was born in Israel. She is a proud veggie and has written over two dozen books mostly for young kids. Fabulous. The smiling Terry on the cover page is definitely going to bring a big smile on your face. The cheerful illustrations in the book are by Mindy Liang.

Hang on. If you purchase this book you are automatically entitled to get a free gift - a great, fun and educational card game for you/ your kid. Is that not fantastic? Well, Terry has nothing to do with Treetop as far as his name is concerned. Treetop is added to his name because he is fond of climbing trees. Terry is a boy with red hair and bubbly cheeks always having a smile on his face and curiosity in his eyes. Curiosity to learn new things. Terry's dad is amazed at Terry's climbing trees passion and to add a new flavour to his adventure he builds a tree house for Terry on the top of his favourite tree in their backyard. Terry is delighted to get this new gift from his dad immediately climbs up the top of the tree to inspect his new house. Terry gets so amazed as he feels himself on the top of the world while looking down on the green fields from his new house.

But the story takes a new turn immediately as Terry goes sad for a valid reason. To find out his genuine reason and what all he did to do away with this growing sadness you will have to grab the book and enjoy reading about his adventurous journey he took. On the way to his adventurous journey he finds many interesting friends. Terry Treetop Finds New Friends by Tali Carmi is really a fantastic read and a fabulous learning for young children (of any age)!

I have been trying to read a lot of children's books lately to inspire my own creative bug. To look at formatting "because I am self publishing with amazon here soon." and frankly to "selfishly force my babies to spend a little extra time with me" STORY TIME is a great excuse.

I came across this book "Terry Treetop finds new friends" Which is only one of a few in the series. At first, I was a little weary. I have bought probably 12 total children's books in kindle format and while I thought the stories were decent and the illustrations were good ... Avery was the toughest critic yet.

I figured. ONE DOLLAR. It's not a loss either way, it more than paid for itself in the moment I now get to cherish with my girls.

Avery has the attention span of a few seconds, sometimes minutes BUT FORGET anything in length needed for a full story. HOWEVER, that wasn't the case with this one.

She sat up strait and listened to every word ... Followed Terry treetop on his quest to find new friends the entire time. It's one of the sweetest little stories of a boy who loves to climb trees, who gets his dream tree house only to realize he needs a friend to share it with. In a world where everyone is busy and no one has time he finds a friend when he thinks hope is lost. A cute cuddly kitten stuck in a tree, which couldn't have been more perfect for the already lover of climbing trees terry.

It definitely teaches you that you can find friends by doing good deeds. Which is a moral that is great to instill in your children! We loved it.
I will say that this book is more attractive to kids ages 2-7 It's an easy read. So if you are strapped for time and need a short story to appease your kids. This is a great one to start with.

My daughter and I love to read books and recently we have discovered Tali Carmi's series of books about Terry Treetop. When I was offered the chance to receive a digital copy of Terry Treetop Finds New Friends in exchange for an honest and unbiased review I couldn't refuse. We couldn't wait to see what new adventures Terry Treetop was going to go on.

In Terry Treetop Finds New Friends Terry sets out to find some friends to play with him in his new tree house his dad has just built for him. Unfortunately everyone he asks to play is too busy working. But as Terry is walking home, sad and feeling lonely, he hears a cry from help. Kitty Kitten is stuck in a tree! Everyone runs to help but no one can climb a tree like Terry. Terry saves Kitty and then everyone heads over to Terry's tree house for a party. Now Terry is no longer alone.

The illustrations are amazing. my daughter likes to just sit and go over all the details and talk about each picture before we flip to the next screen. The story is engaging for little ones. My daughter is almost 5 and she really enjoys the Terry Treetop stories. Even as an adult I enjoy them. Each story is filled with colorful pictures and stories that little ones love to hear.

I would highly recommend this to the 1st grade and under crowd.

I received a digital copy of Terry Treetop Finds New Friends complimentary for evaluation purposes. Regardless, all opinions expressed are still 100% my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with Federal Trade Commission 16 CFR, Part 255 Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsement and Testimonials in Advertising.

"Terry Treetop Finds New Friends" by Tali Carmi is a story about a boy named Terry. Terry loved to climb trees so much, that everybody called him Terry Treetop! One day his dad built him a treehouse, where he could see forever, but he was sad when he realized he didn't have any friends who could play with him in his treehouse.

Terry went around to all the different farm animals, asking if they wanted to come and play in his treehouse, but one by one they all told him they had work to finish before they could play. Terry was so sad that he just decided to forget about finding a friend, and turned around to go home. Suddenly he heard someone calling for help! "Help! Help! Somebody help me!" Terry heard.

All the other animals also heard the cry for help, but when they all gathered around the source of the cries, none of them could do anything to help. Only Terry was able to offer help and save the poor animal in distress. Soon all the animals wanted to play with Terry, and even had a picnic at his house, in honor of him saving the animal in distress.

This is a cute story, and sure to be loved by many children. The illustrations are vividly colored, and the animals all are anthropomorphically cute, with big eyes and pleasant expressions. This story will be a popular addition to your child's book collection, and one I recommend heartily.

Terry Treetop is a great series and this book is no different. The reason I like this book and the Terry Treetop series is because Terry is independent and he believes that he can get what he wants. Terry finds his way home after chasing a butterfly and losing track of where he was, Terry helps a lost egg get home and even seeks help by climbing up a tree to view his surroundings in order to save a trapped dolphin in a fisher's net.

Terry is enjoying his tree house, but soon becomes lonely and goes with a backpack and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich to find a new or new friends to bring back to his tree house. Terry encounters a large about of animals and some abnormally huge, but very charming and beautifully drawn. All the characters/animals can be seen doing something associated with what they do or are known for in real life, for example the Bee that Terry meets is storing honey to make buns and the sheep is heard clicking away while she knits.

This book is takes about 12 minutes to read with out pause, 42 pages long and brightly illustrated. I would recommend it to children ages 4 or 5 to 8. My 8 year old and myself have read this book along with my 6 year old and have found it enjoyable and not complicated to understand. It is a good read out loud, read along, or independent book.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

This eBook features Terry Treetop, a little boy with red hair and freckles known for climbing trees. Terry goes on adventure to find new friends to play with him in his tree house but everyone he asks is too busy to play. If your child has ever felt lonely, they will certainly relate to this character and his feelings.

Since my children have special needs, they have restricted interests. Which means they don't always like characters they don't recognize. Unfortunately my children didn't really understand the story and showed little interest in this eBook. They did like the illustrations and I had them name the different animals that Terry Treetop met.

In the end, Terry Treetop impresses everyone by saving the kitty that was stuck in the tree. Then all the people that were busy all have a party with Terry to celebrate that he saved the kitty from the tree. I am not certain why everyone is no longer busy but Terry Treetop is happy because he is not alone anymore.

All in all, I think Terry Treetop is a lovable character that children can relate to. The story is cute and the beautiful illustrations bring the story to life.

Once again a Terry Treetop book Jasmine just loved. She loved all the pictures. She read the book herself and was able to tell me the moral right after. She is an 8 year old in the 3rd grade but struggles with reading and so every book she reads I reread it to her so she can better understand.

While she was reading it she stopped and said mom this is so sad, No one wants to go to Terry's tree house with him. I told her to keep reading that I bet one of those animals would come. So she kept going. At the end I heard her say, "He did it, they all came and are having a party!"

As a mom, I honestly love the lessons in these books. Never give up, keep trying! Be kind and people will be kind to you! I also love how there is a general moral but also little hidden lessons in the book. Like with the animals, this animals makes this food and that's how we get it, type lessons.

You also get a free printable matching game that has to do with the characters in the book, which I thought was pretty cool. I didn't find it until after Jasmine had already went to bed but I'm sure will think its awesome.

Overall this is a win-win for both mommy and Jasmine we both love Terry Treetop.

I had fun reviewing quite a few books by Tali Carmi and here is another one for you. This book is about another adventure of Terry the treetop, a little red haired boy who liked to climb the trees and look for adventures. This book is another adventure of Terry, whose father built him a tree house, the best thing Terry could wish for, since climbing the trees was his favorite activity. It was such an awesome house that Terry really wanted to show it to some friends. But... he didn't have any friends close by to invite in. So he packed some water and peanut jelly sandwiches and set to look for friends. On his way, he met Betty the bee, Shelly the sheep, Cherry the chicken, Kelly the cow, but all of them were too busy to play with him. Terry was sad, but on the way back home, he met Kitty the kitten, who was stuck on the tree. Terry was just too happy to help. He climbed the tree and took the kitten down. And guess what, Betty, Shelly, Cherry and Kelly saw his heroic act and hurried with gifts to help Kitty too. That's how you make friends, by doing something little to help others.
Great little book.
