“Sex?!”

She couldn’t do it. As a romance novelist, Lana couldn’t add sex to her novels, even if it meant never being published again.

Victor Davenport sees the beautiful, prim and proper lady and is intrigued. Even more so when she bursts into tears. Never a man to turn away a damsel in distress, he offers her a hanky - and then his services as a teacher...only for the sake of Lana's literary career though!

But Victor finds himself more fascinated with the lovely Lana as he gets to know her... and he wants more than just a casual relationship with her.

Unfortunately, Lana finds out that Victor owns the publishing company she works for...was he with her only to improve the profits? Was their relationship a sham?

USA Today™ best-selling author Elizabeth Lennox writes contemporary romance novels featuring sheiks, business tycoons, royalty, and other sexy rich men. Her male lead characters are smart, driven and determined, but can still be sensitive and vulnerable. Elizabeth’s female lead characters come from a variety of backgrounds. They are strong, intelligent and independent, while still feminine and caring.

Although she wanted to be a romance novelist since the eighth grade, that dream only became a reality for her in 2009 and a full time job in 2012. Along the way, she received a BS in History and held different jobs in the real estate, government consulting, and financial industries. All during that time, though, she was always writing, using her personal experiences, dreams, and travels throughout the United States, Europe and the Caribbean as backdrops for her stories. To date, she has written over eighty books and sold over 5.1 million copies. Her free novellas have been downloaded over 8 million times since 2013.

Elizabeth lives in Virginia with her husband and two children. Their home is just outside of Washington, D.C., and many of her novels are set in this area.

Another cute one…

Another book I bought years ago and thought I’d already reviewed. This one is cute too, about an author who has had a horrible marriage and now has an aversion to writing about smex. Her ex called her cold and frigid. But he’s a complete jerk! The guy she meets ends up being the right guy for her, but there are complications.

Again, some minor spelling and grammar issues so a star off.

Prince charming

Victor Davenport was a true gentleman and a Prince Charming all in one. He rescued her and wined and dined her and then made love to her all in the hope of teaching her to like sex for her latest book. It backfired when they fell madly on love but they absolutely deserved each other. I truly liked this book.

So romantic

I am in love with Victor! What a wonderful character. Lana is a shy sweet innocent lady who has been brow beaten by an mean ex husband and she needs self confidence and reassurance and Victor is the guy to provide it. I love the interaction between Victor and Lana. Great love story.

Well, not sure what to put for this one. While it's good that she is willing to learn more for her writing she didnt ask for many details from him at all. Lana is pretty naive throughout the book, but learns more about sex for her book. Just thought that since she pulled herself thru what happened with Drew that maybe she might get a little revenge with regards to him.

Really enjoyed this story. A little angst near the end, but overall a short, sweet romance. Lennox is a pro when it comes to the alpha male hero.

Very good, quick read. Has some typos but none too distracting.

I really do not like books where either the hero or heroine are divorced but it worked in this book.

I liked the story - she is innocent even though she had been married for a number of years and to read of how the hero teaches her and slowly falls for her. It did have the big misunderstanding but it worked in this book.

The Tycoon's Seduction Plan

This is a great story and it developed so casually! A Romance writer that (thanks to ex-husband) doesn't know what romance is! A stranger turns her world up-side down! All readers will adore this book!

I loved this book couldn't put it down. Lana Armstrong is a romance writer for Lincoln Publishings and according to her editor Nancy Kirkpatrick, the new owner of the company wants sex scenes written in the stories. Lana is divorced and her ex-husband had always put her down especially her way of having sex, so writting sex scenes is going to be difficult for her since she hasn't had good sex experience to go by. When Lana got in the elevator knowing someone was there with her she could no longer hold her tears and started crying. The man offered her his handkerchief to wipe her tears and when the elevator doors opened he guided her to a restaurant. In the restaurant Lana calmed down and felt embarrased for crying infront of this handsome man named Victor, but she told him everything even that she hates sex. Victor offered to take her home and while on their way he made her a proposition to let him show her that sex can be great. Lana went with Victor to his penthouse and she was not dissapointed. When she woke up the next morning she couldn't stop writting her new story thanks to Victor. After six weeks of seeing each other she finally finished her book, but when she took it to her editor she was surprise to see Victor there. Lana had developed deep feelings for Victor, but when she realised that Victor was using her just to sell books she left running from him because she did not want to see him ever again.
