This is a really great book if you have already made up your mind that you are getting a parrot (a conure, specifically) and want to know what you should be doing while it's being hand-fed, laid, etc. It gives you come general info and then tries to teach you conure-specific information that you need to know and wouldn't find from a "let's talk about parrots" kind of books. If you're a future mommy or daddy, read it.

Conure Anima PanetThis

This book has good information on basi parrot care. A good book for a person withh their first parrot. There was no information. about troubleshooting ot suggested signs parrot problems. I think the book Parrot s For Dummies was more helpful. Bad advice on wing trimming.

Great introduction

I found the information very informative and teaching.
The section on conure behavior was very instructional.
I learned that I was providing my bird with too many treats.
Giving my bird lots of attention first thing in the morning and giving him a shower in the kitchen sink with water flowing at lukewarm very entertaining and good for the bird.

This book had a lot of information that my previous Conure book didn't cover. It even has first aid help information. How to feed them and how to understand them better as it gives some information on the wild conures.
