By far the best Bible I’ve ever read. Each day is broken into a few chapters of the Old Testament, then New Testament, and we close out with a Psalm or Proverb. I think this division makes it so much easier to read. (I’ve tried to read it from cover to cover before and failed miserably.) This Bible also has a daily reflection on one of the sections you read and they are always very insightful and helps you relate what you read back to your every day life. Finally, I love that this version is NIV - I could fully understand everything I read the first time without having to pull out a concordance. I definitely recommend it.
This is my second time to read through the bible in a year (this time I started the end of January, so I had to catch up a bit). I like having the bible divided into digestible chunks. This particular version is different in that instead of starting with the Old Testament and going on to the New Testament, each day offers a bit of the Old Testament, a bit of the New Testament, and part of the Psalms. Each day also includes a meditation on the daily reading. This is an interesting way to approach it and provides some interesting parallels when you find yourself reading the Old Testament prophets and the Book of Revelation on the same day.
There are so many things to love about this once-a-day Bible. First of all, the introduction starts out with the path to salvation, as well as a list of verses pertaining to salvation. I think this is a wonderful addition for someone who has just been saved and is looking to deepen their faith with regular reading. It just makes a nice reference point.
Second, I like the fact that this Bible includes passages from three parts of the Bible for daily reading. Each day has a New Testament passage, Old Testament passage, and finally as passage from either Psalms or Proverbs. Each passage is chronological from day-to-day. Along with each day is a small snippet of something to reflect on from one of the three passages to be read for the day.
For daily reading, this book is laid out wonderfully. You can start at the beginning, and move through it and read the Bible in a year. For other Bible uses (i.e. church or in a situation when you want to look up passages quickly) it might not be quite as useful as each Testament is so broken up.
For myself, and for others as well, I can definitely see this once-a-day Bible being a great aid in starting to develop a good habit of daily reading.

This is a lovely soft-bound Bible designed for women in a beautiful shade of pink for the cover. It is composed in the NIV, New International Version. The NIV is one of my personal favorites to read as it makes the Bible clear and easily understandable. Each day is clearly marked, one through 365 for reading the Bible through in one year. Each day's reading contains some chapters from the Old Testament, the New Testament, Psalms and Proverbs. The chapters are read in order as they appear in the Bible. After each day's reading, there is a short "Reflection" which features one portion of the passages for the day and expounds on that particular passage more. The print was a bit small for my personal taste. It is an inexpensive Bible to purchase and would be a good choice for someone who does not have a great deal of money to invest in the Bible. I think it would be a nice gift for a teenage girl or a new Christian woman. I honestly am unsure what makes it especially for women except for the cover design and color. I would rate this Bible 3.5 stars. I received a copy of this Bible from booklookbloggers in exchange for my honest review.
About a year ago I got the Pink bible from Zondervan and I adore it. Turns out my younger sister adores it as well, so when I saw this, I had to get it for her. She's not yet a woman, but she's a young lady. At almost 15, my sister is a beautiful young christian who truly loves God. I think she just about cried when I gave her this. This is what she had to say about it:
"I LOVE MY BIBLE! I really love how I can read my bible everyday and it brings me closer to God. I like how it serperates the days and verses. This is the best gift my older sister gave me!"
If you have a beauitful young or older woman in your life, I recommend this as a gift. It's perfect!

Love, love, love this! I got this awesome Bible to review, which is nice because it allows you to read the Old Testament and the New Testament in a year, plus you can throw it in a bag and go. It's fabulous! I can't believe I have gone so long without one of these! Stop feeling guilty about being behind, this will get you right on track!
If you are trying to dive into scripture more, but feel like you don't have the time, this is an awesome tool. Thank you Zondervan! This is so handy and has five stars from me!
I like this devotional but they do seem to have a repeating theme. It's a lot of the same people and their struggle when there are plenty more to focus on. Overall good but I which there was more variety
