You can have anything that you want if you can master the art of visualization. There is only one skill in this world which can help you reveal your true potential. Every other skill will fall short in helping you remember your real nature. This book reveals the closely guarded secret of wise men and women. Few greater gifts can be given to someone than to learn how to truly develop a method to grasp their own consciousness and unlock a remarkable scope of understanding of both themselves and the universe. Life-changing books are few in number, but here is one that conveys a remarkable breakthrough. No one will be the same after absorbing the contents of this mind-enlarging volume.
This was a very interesting read. I think it gives a good roadmap on how to pray or meditate depending on your preference, what to meditate on, and what to expect (how to do it). It's not the only method of mediation out there or the the only idea that works. Having said that, it's worth reading for anyone interested in becoming a better person, or, in keeping with my understanding of what makes something "Spiritual", to change from the person you see in the mirror to the person that you would like to be.
I found it very interesting that the author talks about Christ and Buhda in the same breath. This is interesting because, he's absolutely right about how he's seeing Christ used here, and, I know some Christians will immediately take offense that someone spoke about Christ and Buhda without elevating Christ to a higher, less human like us, level of being. Yet, what he actually says would be very much in keeping with most conservative Christian beliefs.
Having said that, for those who are not particularly strict or disciplined in the way you see Christ, or the Higher Power of your understanding, may find this very helpful if you are down because of physical or psychological problems, or just temporarily depressed.
Of course, the key to everything is, to use a tool like meditation and prayer effectivly, it requires that you believe in it. Once you believe, to improve you have to practice the new skill even when you are not in a crisis, then you will become an embodiment of what you belief. Mind, body and actions line up and that brings personal power to overcome difficult situations.
I recommend it to anyone open to the idea of meditation or using the same techniques in prayer. There's a very good message here.
The only draw back is that it's a pure message. The average person can only hope to become "better" at life, but not cure all that ails them. That's in the book but, it's hard to see and remember sometimes.
Good read. Short, Good advice if your willing to use it.
For anyone who is familiar and practices visualization, this book has absolutely no new insights or new techniques to offer. I bought it for 99 cents in the Kindle store and consider those 99 cents a waste of money. If you have never heard of visualization this book may be helpful to you and might help to get started.
