Deja and Xavier welcomes a beautiful baby girl name Xyla making their family complete. With Latasha finally out of their lives for good, can they gain peace and live happily ever after? Not if their past has anything to do with it. After giving birth to Xyla, Deja gets a visit from the grave. A person that she thought she would never see breathing the same air she breaths steps into her life. Xavier and Jay’s past also comes back to haunt them, causing them to once again turn to the street life for revenge. Jade and Jay’s relationship is already on the rocks, but when Leyah surfaces again with a surprise of her own, Jay is forced to do what needs to be done to protect his family. At the same time, Jade doesn't trust Jay to handle the situation, so she steps in. What she doesn't know is that she is stepping right in the trap that was set for her. Kai is called on to assist with the situation, but due to his own problem that relates to Jay’s, he is forced to join them and take to the streets for retaliation! The couples that you have grown to love is faced with people from their past that want to see their heads on a platter. Can they survive their past or will they die trying?

At the moment I feel like Rocky when he made it to the top of those stairs.. yeah exactly the same way.

I promise that most of the people in these books have nine lives like freaking cats or they are all connected in some way. I mean after X's baby momma and Shawn, I was like okay that was a good one! That was a different way to swing it.. and then it continued to happen and I was thinking... yeah no no it was cool the first time but then again.. yeah no over it.

Overall rating all 5 books (I made it to 5.. I know Kai has a book but no interest in reading it) I would give them together a solid 3.95. A few of the books I really enjoyed and others not so much.

I will say that this these books did have some great twist and turns and shockingly out of all the characters I actually enjoyed Izzy the most.

So nice read but glad I am done!

This was a great series. This author is now on my list of authors to read. There was never a dull moment in this series. Just when you thought you knew it all or figured it out she hit you with another twist..... Great Job Miss Sutton.

Another Page-Turner

This whole series was twisted, crazy, unpredictable & I loved every bit of it. Once again the ending left me speechless with Kai's revelation & new discovery. I can't get enough of these characters!!

Secrets and lies

Secrets and lies always come to the forefront.It doesn't matter the reason whether its to protect or to hide any type of issue.
All these couple have great love and friendship with each other,but this book depicts how secrets and lies can harm and damage relationships.

Closure or not

Finally the puzzle pieces are put together. Had he not died I think digging into Kev's Mother and what she did with the money would be interesting. Knowing that he raped Jade and that Jay was trying to look out for him sucked.

Let me start off by saying that I have had this book for a while and did not pick it up until a couple days ago...lets say when I picked it up I just could not put it down. Once again Tajanna leaves me speechless. I enjoye this book from beginning to end. The different twist and turns I just loved. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time and I loved every minute of it. I like how the character came to life, old and new. I loved the fact that each character played his or her part well. There wasnt a time when I was like I knew that was going to happen it was a shocker from beginning to end. I know a few people gave Tajanna a lot of hell about this book but I do disagree. I think that she did an awesome job with this one alone with the others in the past. I can't wait until she hits us with another 5 star read. GREAT JOB! Thanks for keeping me entertained. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!

The end of this saga was okay. I'm not a big fan of coming back from the dead and at least 2 people previously thought to be dead all reappeared in this book. I didn't feel like the ending really captured the true essence of the original story. Unfortunately, the books don't stand on their own accord and must be read in sequence or you won't understand references. Quick read.

Finally a happy ending for Deja or is it? Personally I'm tired of the series thing and I would love a good stand alone novel. Although I was not disappointed in the series I'm burnt out on the cliffhangers.

I am glad Deja is finally smiling. Xavier and Jay surely take protection of their family serious, and I mean by any means necessary they will protect their family. This was awesome, however I am left hanging will there be another sequel or is this the end of the Deja series?

Tajana Sutton has done it again! Deja 5 flowed wonderfully, had many twists, and moved at a fast pace.I was on the edge of my seat the entire read. Wish it was a little longer but I most definitely enjoyed! Can't wait for the Kai series.

Too much!!

So much to take in and now I'm about to dive into Kai's story which is book 6!! Also found out there are two more books out there in relation to this series...spin-offs I guess is what they're called.
