I was born in St. Louis, Missouri and raised in a small town in Wisconsin where I graduated from high school and started a family. I am married with 3 children. My family and I have resided in Tucson, AZ since 2001. I have always loved to write and won my first writers contest when I was in the 5th grade. That same year I received a typewriter for Christmas and have been writing ever since. Over the years I continued to write in my spare time but in 2009 I knew it was time to follow my heart and I began to write again, but not as a hobby, I wanted to do it as a career. I took a couple writing classes at my local community college and then went on to self publish my first novel EPIPHANY IS MINE in April of 2011.
EPIPHANY IS MINE was my starter book since I had written many stories but never a book. I received great reviews and was motivated to continue writing and follow my dream of being a full-time author. Since then, I have written and published two other books, EX-BABY MOMMA’S CLUB and SETTLING FOR TROUBLE. These books let my creative mind take me on a journey that wouldn’t allow me to put my laptop down. I was excited about writing these books because I felt I now had a direction and had faith that I could write at an accomplished level. I took all the good and not so good reviews I received on my first novel and made sure I could bring the readers more captivating stories for their reading enjoyment. Now I offer my fourth novel CHRISTIAN EXPRESS CARD which is another captivating fictional tale of one man’s struggle with his faith.
I love reading, writing, and taking mini vacations with my family. My favorite male author was E. Lynn Harris, may he rest in piece and my favorite female author is Mary Monroe but I love reading so there are so many more on my favorite authors list. I am inspired by anyone who has the mind to sit down and put a story into words. I thank God for my gift to write and my family, friends and avid readers for their support of my dream.
What's done in the dark will come to the light....
Iris, Tayla and Nadia thought that the secrets of their past would forever remain a secrets.
Well secrets have a way of coming out even if one doesn't want them to. These three girlfriend are going to go through hell and high water to keep their secrets. Even if they gotta lie, cheat, cover up and tell half truths. That is until only the truth or half truth will mend their broken relationships.
I enjoyed this book and took away something that I already know but was reiterated. It's better to tell the truth upfront it prevents lies, deception and hurt. And a strong foundation in which to build your relationship upon.
