Anyone that likes a zombie book or adventure will most assuredly love this read. It does seem a little more on the realistic side as if this could actually happen. I mean if it was going to happen I could see it happen this way. A unknown bug gets free from a location (not man made) and raises total havoc. And told from the different point of view of some of the front line participants. Just loved it all .. cant wait till the next book.
This is actually a fairly interesting story but it gets bogged down - in overuse of minutiae, which had me skimming through to more interesting sections. This is made worse by paragraphs that can go on literally for a page. Without breaking up content it just runs on and on. But, the real issues are the lack of proofreading and subsequent typos, grammatical and spelling errors, which are on every single page (most pages several of them). It’s a shame the author put so much work into this but didn’t take the time or make the investment to have someone proof and correct it. While I’m going to read the second installment I hope I can get through it.
This is an interesting take on a zombie apocalypse. I really like the main characters personality and how the story develops. I like that this story starts from the beginning of how the zombie apocalypse started and takes you through the steps that the government and local authorities go through during a time of crisis instead of just starting out with zombies.
