A collection of 45 ridiculous 911 emergency calls, submitted by 911 Call Center Operators across the U.S.Dedicated to you, the Taxpayer who funded these A quick 10-minute read of humorous quotes from real calls.Just enough for a grin of the day!
This is exactly what is says it is. Stupid 911 calls. And man, I cannot believe..well, actually I can. And that's just sad.
Would have rated it higher but it is so short! Did not expect that. I figured I was getting 40 or 50 pages. Alas, it was not to be. Still a whole heck of alot of fun though.
Read it unless you are afraid you w ill lose all hope in humanity if read. And the thing is..you just might. Maybe it's a good thing it's so short. Looking forward, (sort of) to book two.

After reading The 225 Dumbest Lawsuits Ever Filed, I had my hopes up for a somewhat interesting and perhaps informative read.
Unfortunately Stupid 911 Calls missed the mark. The book separates the calls based on what type of emergency the call may be considered to fall under such as firefighter, postal, Homeland Security, etc.
The "stupid" element appears in various formats such as actual stupidity, events that can easily be interpreted another way given to misunderstanding, those thinking outside the box and just plain entitlement.
And in many cases these weren't really as much stories but instead snippets from those calls.
All in all it wasn't really worth reading and I will probably get rid of the book after letting my husband have a chance to read it.
As a former first responder, people think I'm full off it when I say I responded to a stubbed toe, or a washer stuck on a mans genitals but I did on more than one occasions. I would love to read more of these
