Relevant, useful overview of fundraising but the 3rd edition at least is too dated to be super helpful. A lot has changed over the last decade and by this point any reference to MySpace should be met with a chuckle.
I love the wealth of resources that the "Dummies" books provide. I have 5 full pages of notes after reading this book that are things for me to further investigate on this topic. Great tips on a topic that I knew very little about!
Chap 25 is good: 10 excuses for the failed event. Includes reasons why things go wrong and how to plan ahead or be proactive in the midst of the disaster. Helpful.
