Harrison William Weir RI (5 May 1824 – 3 January 1906), known as "The Father of the Cat Fancy", was a British artist.
He organised the first cat show in England, at the Crystal Palace, London, in July 1871. He and his brother, John Jenner Weir, both served as judges in the show. In 1887 Harrison Weir founded the National Cat Club and was its first President and Show Manager until his resignation in 1890.
If you're running low on inspiration I definitely recommend this collection of nursery rhymes. what was so curious was how dark some of the rhymes can be. It's like, oh that's a sweet sounding rhyme, and then either shooting someone in the head, a little dismemberment, or other things it's like wth????? lol. Still. These are great to read out loud and to get used to writing in rhyme and have nearby in case you want to add something whimsically sinister to your writing.
