After reading this book front to back at least 5 times, I have a lot of questions for the people that like enemies to lovers romance novels. That's the best way I can explain my relationship with this book in book trope terms, and it might just be the most conflicting thing in my life. I absolutely despise this book for its inaccuracies and constant repetition of the same information, while skipping other more relevant aspects that should have been explained with much more detail. That being said, I kinda feel obligated to respect it (and even, dare I say it...love it??) for getting me into med school (cause I guess I am a masochist at heart).
Kinda ironic that this will probably end up being the longest book I read this year:'))
If you're here contemplating why you ever chose to go to med school because you have to read this nonsense, this is not the review/rant for you. I still have no explanation for what made me do it. But I will say this: finding out I was admitted was one of the best moments of my life, if not the best one. Take what you want from that.
Pumnul reprezintă glomerulul; balonul reprezinta capsula Bowman." WHY?! I just...I don't even know what to say about that. It's just so stupid, like I'm 5 and I'm asking an adult where babies come from and they tell me a stork brings them.
Definitely needs adjustments because details can be unclear, a few of the pictures have mistakes, and we were supposed to study it this way for our medical entrance to university. I would not say this book is just for beginners since it has so many in-depth informations.
I gave this a 3, but then decided it was unfair, since the information is accurate, it's well-written and supported by good diagrams. Not really extensive enough for anyone studying medicine or a specialized field of healthcare. Good for anyone who needs a quick overview.
After reading it like 10-11 times and memorising every little detail of this book(romanian translation), I can safely say it's full of mistakes and I hate every aspect of it and I can't wait to warm my house with it next winter🥰
