This was the first book in the Brace series. We begin with a plane crash in the Cascade Mountains. A very exciting ride for the start of a book I must say. The main characters bush pilot Reid Cavanaugh and a lady Dr. Kaycee Addison. Reid is grieving the lose of his older brother, who was a police Detective, and has big time trust issues with doctors. One of the passengers on the ill-fated plane is Kaycee, who is wanted for murder, only she has amnesia and can't even remember her name.

This book is really partly about learning to trust. When the two discover someone is out to silence the good doctor, they must choose to trust each other if they are to survive this nightmare. This wild ride is chock full of running from the bad guys, a bit of angst, and plenty of flaming hot love scenes. I really liked the characters and the story line kept you guessing what would happen next and wanting for more. The one side character Sandy, the ME and best friend of Kaycee, I found to be a very nice funny addition to the cast of characters.

The motto of this book if you will, was to Live, Laugh, & Love. In the end Reid & Kaycee managed to do all those things. I highly recommend this book to those who love action, danger and sizzling romance!!

The action in this book literally started on the first page, and kept going the entire way through. It kind of felt like there was just too much going on, especially considering that this is under 200 pages. There just didn’t seem like there was enough time for everything to get as developed as much as I would have liked.

But overall, I did enjoy this story. I’m not in a rush to reread it, but I’m not disappointed that I have a copy for my shelves.

Intense and action packed story full of twists, turns and danger. A threat, a murderer as well as grief and anger all play a part in this gripping plot. The suspense and fear from the first part morph into a race against time to find clues and evidence to solve the case against Kaycee, in the process eventually they find a whole lot more as they get their happy ending and more answers than they ever expected at the start. A thrilling read from start to finish.

Wow! I want my very own pilot.

This was my very first Allie K Adams book and it was smoking hot in every aspect. The action was great, the suspense was great, the romance was great and the love making was even better..Kaycee got lucky to have Reid as her pilot, her hero and her lover. Reid was lucky to find Kaycee as his passenger, his doctor, his best friend and his lover. Thank you for a wonderful book!

I love books that make you laugh, cry, and stay up late at night because you just have to see what happens next. This book has all that. The characters were great, the romance steamy, and lots of action. I personally think this would make an excellent movie and hope some enterprising individual in Hollywood reads this gem and does just that. Can't wait to read more by this author.
