Before he was the leader of the Bankroll Squad, Malcolm Powers was only a teenager with a spectacular thirst for power. His bloodline was of power, and he felt that it was only right that he reign as the most powerful Power family member to date. With a soft spot for women and a sore spot for snitches, he set out to lay down the foundation of his character from the streets of Houston to the city of Atlanta. **13,000 word short story** **Also, make sure you pre-order Bankroll Squad 4 on Kindle**
I read this one from the library & found it to be a Very intriguing backstory/prequel on the life of Malcolm Powers. I'll have to cop my own copy for my personal library soon.
I am officially hooked on The Bankroll Squad series. Reading Malcom showed me how he became who he is and I really enjoyed it. All the books I've read by this author are winners. As soon as I finish one I want more. I need more right now. The one thing I find unique about this author is he tells you what to look for next so you follow the series. Since i'm fiending for more Bankroll Squad, I gotta go order Lipstick Clique.
It was an excellent read. D.w. made you interact with the character you already loved. He showed you how Malcolm became a Boss. It was a good prequel because it made everything else fall in place. I definitely recommend this short story.
To know where Malcolm started & how he got where he is now , is a good thing to know! Definitely makes you want to read the Bankroll Squad series again to understand where he came from ; in the words of Veronica "It's All About The Bankroll"
David Weaver continues to write best-selling novels. If the cover has David Weaver's name on it you can bet your last dollar it's gonna be a five star fabulous read.
I love this series. It was nice to see what made a person the way they are in the story. I think more authors should give background info on their characters.
I absolutely love David Weaver's work! He grabs your attention and hold it until the very end! I would recommend his books to other avid readers. Keep up the good work!
