This book is,- how can one even begin to review a book of Beautiful Subha's of the Sultan of Saints? Gave 5 stars. But the thought came to my mind, how can we even dare to rate a book, coming from God Almighty himself, transmitted to us through a Saint of our times. I would like to share here, a review by a reader on Amazon-(took the Liberty of copying her review, because it was so Beauitiful)

"5.0 out of 5 stars AMAZING!, June 11, 2013

This review is from: In the Mystic Footsteps of Saints: 1 (Kindle Edition)
I wanted to learn a bit about Islam without resorting to a textbook or the Koran since neither have given a real taste of the flavor of Islam to me. I was comfortable with the writing style but it was the content that absolutely blew me away. This read a lot like conversations that I had with the nuns of my youth back in my Catholic school days. I was amazed at the commonality between my religious background and the spirituality of a people half a world away. This is something I would recommend to anyone in the west keeping in mind that Islam has different facets just as Christianity and Judaism do. The easy conversational style brings valuable lessons to the reader, lessons that are universal, lessons that bring a broader and deeper respect to the reader."

This says all.A must read for all interested in Spirituality!

If you're an avid reader, you may initially get put off by the simplicity of the language but I urge you not to. This book is accessible for all and has deep information that has been written from the heart. It is a form of energy healing and is one that challenges your ego in the kindest way.

Sheikh Nazim is a brilliant scholar and his work seeks to relate to anyone, regardless of where they are in life. Rather than reading it by entering your headspace, I encourage you to take deep breaths into your heart and enter that spiritual soft spot before opening the book. This way, you absorb it the way it's meant to be.

The stories are phenomenal and you finish it with a stronger connection to Allah.

This was the first book written by Sheikh Nazim that I read last year .
I felt this book ridding me of many doubts and misdirected notions in my perception. It’s pure nectar. Each and every single line, is a potent enough to dispel years of confused beliefs layered above one another.
Why are we depressed? What are we here for? Why do we do what we do?
He speaks to your innermost soul. Only saints can do that. That too through the written word.

I’m a Hindu by faith and though this book was written for a Muslim audience, I can’t help feeling the greatness of this man .... through the depth of his understanding of how the world works. I highly recommend this book. Much to take away from it .

"Until we are able to rise above the level of the mind, people themselves serve as the means of attaining a state of preparedness for spiritual life, and our various conflicts and “scrapes” serve as a means of polishing the heart."

(Italics my own; I just love that phrase.)

Truly a work from the heart.

The author understands his subject and shares his knowledge from his heart. A book to be read more than once.
