"As a writer I feel as if I walk two distinct paths. On one path, I am drawn in the direction of non-fiction family pieces. I believe that if we can understand our family relationships, we can get a better understanding of who we are as individuals.

On the other path, I enjoy the creativity involved when plotting out different fictional stories. As the characters go through their ups and downs, it’s comforting to know that on some level, it will all work out for them. My central characters always carry the lesson that sometimes to grow, you have to “let go.”

I received this book as a Goodreads first reads. The opinions in this review are mine alone.

This is a book about four grown sisters: Paula, Alise, Callie and Marlisa (in order of age). It deals with their struggles in life, business and most importantly family. My take on them....
Paula: a schemer, thinks life owes her something more than she got so she's going to make sure she gets it...no matter what or whom she has to butt heads with.
Alise: Struggling, hurt by a tragedy. The one who holds this family together and tries to make things right, even if it may cause some problems for herself.
Callie: Separated from her husband. Torn between two men (the husband and another). A real go-getter in the business world. Hurting, not sure where to turn. Easy prey....
Marlisa: Caused Callie's separation from her husband. Weak, easily led and has a problem with admitting when she's wrong...about anything.

I enjoyed the book and am glad that I won it. This is the second book about these sisters. I think that it would have been more enjoyable had I read it before this one (unfortunately, I hadn't). I think that it would have provided some "background" facts. There is also to be a third book which I hope to read.

So I finished up Too Many Sisters and found there was a second book and I had to order right away, the first was a free book I was happy to find this was not too expensive. I downloaded on my Kindle after 12:30 last night...i tried to shut off and go to bed. But decided to read first chapter to see where it would pick up. I finished the book after 4am and I loved it. Oh my gosh the story about these 4 sisters has me so intrigued. I hope book 3 comes out soon. There are lies, blackmail, secrets and drama galore I couldn't out it down and want more. Great read Nina!!!

The Sister’s Love

A deep family secret guaranteed to affect all the sisters is revealed. Will the sisters continue to maintain their close-family tie?

“Too Many Secrets” by Nina Guilbeau is a remarkable story involving the love of sisters. I believe that everyone has one (or more) devious family member and will relate to this story. I enjoyed reading every page. Nina Guilbeau, good work.
