***** I was gifted a copy of this book for an honest review*****

I LOVED this book! I love books that include angels and their children and this book was no exception. The first two chapters in this book are a little slow as it provides background information about the fall of angels, but after that the story picks up and I was unable to put the book down until the very end. The authors did an amazing job writing this book. All the characters have a very distinct personality and even though Archer and Addison are the two main characters you actually get to know several other characters and some really HOT half angel men! while I was reading this book I could visualize it like I was watching it in on T.V. There was so much description and detail.

Archer is a half angel and he decides to protect Addison from another half angel who is after her even though he doesn't know why. He is very serious and most of the time acts like a big stick in the mud, but maybe Addison is just the human to help him not to be so serious?

Addison is a very independent female who does not take to well to being babysat or Archer's hot and cold attitude.

Jake was by far my favorite character in this book. He is a fun loving enjoy the ride type of half angel. He is also Archer's brother. He is hilarious.

Through out the book you get to meet many more character and too many to list, but I love them all. This book is a must read! I would recommend this book to everyone! Seriously go check it out!

**Reviewed on Behalf of Give Me Books**

***3 1/2 Stars***

This book started out a little slow for me, the first 2 chapters weren't much. The story started to get interesting at around the 3rd chapter when main alpha male character Archer had a little more than a chat with his future girlfriend bartender Addison. Archer is a well behave all about business angel, all he cares about is his family. Until he met her...things started to get complicated when he started to have feelings for Addison. Same can be said about Addison, neither one could keep their mind off each other since their first meeting. Archer swore to himself to keep his distance from Addison, until Malachi came looking for her. When Malachi came searching for Addison at her apartment, Archer took it into his own hands that the best way to protect Addison is for her to live with him and his brother Jack. Since that day Addison couldn't go anywhere without Archer or his ladies man brother Jack, for work or school one has to be with her.

While time passes and Archer and his brothers work hard on trying to find out what Malachi really wants with Addison, Archer and Addison feelings started growing for each other. Addison didn't have a problem letting Archer know how she felt, but Archer was different. He was hot for her at times, then suddenly goes cold knowing it's best not to have any feelings for her at all. Archers started realizing that if doesn't stake his claim with Addison soon, someone will be happy enough to do it for him.

As much as I enjoyed reading this book, I didn't love it like I should. At times when I was reading I felt like I was watching my favorite show Supernatural. What happens when Angels are killed, I mean enjoyed that with my show Supernatural..but I just felt like it should be different with the book.

My favorite part of the book is the relationship that Archer had with his brothers and Addison.

All in all, I give this book a strong 3 1/2 stars. I am looking forward to what Sienna Lane's writes in the future. ;)

3 & 1/2 stars from Kota for Kota's Book Kollection

I am going to be honest with this review – well I am honest with all of my reviews, but in this case I am going to say that while I was reading this story, I enjoyed it – it was a quick easy read, it had romance, drama, hot fallen angels, demons and a whole lot of entertaining supporting characters. After I finished it though, I actually struggled to remember the details!

So tracking back… I can tell you that this book revolves around brothers Archer and Jake. These guys are the eldest sons of a fallen angel, and they take their job of keeping the other children of fallen angels in line while they mix with the humans.

Archer meets Addison who sparks his interest in more ways than one. These two feed off each other in a hot and cold manner which builds the sexual tension nicely. Circumstances become such that Addison becomes a target of a rogue ‘angel’, which forces Archer into having/trying to protect Addison – all the while trying to figure out what her appeal is.

This story is complete enough on its own. The beginning is a detailed setting of the scene, the middle builds the relationship dynamics, and the end finishes with a climax, and an almost too perfect happy ending.

The writing was engaging – like I said – I enjoyed it while I was reading it. In hindsight what I can say is that this is a simple read, you don’t have to think too much because everything is basically spelled out for you. The plot seems like it has been told before – the general theme has at least – so it is not a unique story, but it is fun.

If you enjoy NA paranormal romance, and don’t want anything to in depth – you should really enjoy this story.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Archer is a Nephilim. He is the first Nephilim and head of the Vertabul that polices the Nephilim. Addison is a bartender and law student that has caught the eye of Malachi. Malachi is a malicious Nephilim that plans to sacrifice Addison in an attempt to fulfill a prophecy. Archer and Addison meet at the bar that she bartends at. They feel an instant attraction. Archer tries to resist Addison because she’s human, and he's Nephilim. However, he needs to keep Addison safe from Malachi, and that just throws them together even more. Will Archer be able to resist Addison? Will he be able to keep her safe from Malachi? Will the prophecy be fulfilled?

I’m not sure where to start on my review of The Fall. I enjoyed the story line. I found it to be unique and refreshing. I loved Archer and his brothers. The twins especially touched my heart. I hated that Archer kept trying to fight his feelings for Addison. I loved how it ended. On the down side, the writing seemed to be choppy to me. It didn’t seem to flow very well in the beginning. If I was reading it for fun, I probably would have stopped reading because of the choppy writing. It did get better the more you read. I'm glad I stuck with it. With that being said, even though it did keep my attention and I enjoyed the story line, it's a book that you'll just have to take a chance on and decide for yourself.

Addison and archers story

Have to say the cover and rave reviews made me purchase this book but I was a little disappointed. I thought the story is very simple and promising but it sadly lacked the grit and dialogue to hold it up.
At times I thought the writing came across adolescent and Addison character was really annoying. Archer despite his growls and alpha dominance needed an injection of personality.
I have read other books of this genre which were more detailed and developed which had that gripping factor which was sadly missing from this book.
It will appeal to some but my journey with this author ends here.

DNF

DID ANYBODY SAY ANGELS? YUM!

The cover of this book pretty much sold this one for me BUT!

SADLY, THIS HIT ROCK BOTTOM FOR ME BY THE TIME I FLIPPED TO CHAPTER TWO.

THE H/h CHEMISTRY JUST FELL FLAT FOR ME. THERE WAS NO MAGNETISM, NO SEXUAL TENSION THAT MADE THEM JUST CLICK. SURE, THEY CHECKED EACH OTHER OUT BUT THEN I JUST COULDN'T READ ON ANYMORE.

WHEN YOU'RE AN ANGST WHORE LIKE ME, OR READ DARK EROTICA....THIS ONE FALLS VERY VERY FAR DOWN ON THE RATING SCALE.

I always joke about having a DNF list but I came really close this time. I wanted to give up after the first 5% but that was mostly because I have never read angels and demons before and the beginning didn't captivate me enough to wanna stay. Once again, my need to not have a DNF made me persevere. However, I literally had to force my way through to the end because this was cheesy, anticlimactic and felt more like a parody than a paranormal. The thing that surprised me also was that it had a lot of real religious elements that were manipulated in the most understated and uninspiring way.

This could have been an opportunity to learn about ancient religious prophecies regarding the Grigori and their offspring's the Nephilim, as they try to keep Addison a descendant of Enoch safe, while hoping to stop another Nephilim from releasing their fathers from Tartarus. Normally, I don't recall story lines because that's what blurbs are for but this one I think I had to for the rest of us who are not that religiously inclined and had to learn of this from a paranormal novel.

First of all, I thought this was going to be another vampire novel, so I had to recalibrate my expectations and I was even excited for a while to read my first angels and demons novel based off real historical events B.C. Imagine my disappointment :(

The moment Archer and Addison met and start to keep company this story fizzles to YA romance. At one point, I wondered if we weren't going to bother with hell on earth. Literally. I think that if you are going to tackle a story of this caliber then the delivery has to be better than the equivalent of a teen movie. They were so modern to the point where it was unbelievable. I understand change but this was too much.

An example you say? ... here goes ... so this creature is suppose to be locked away for a millennia as pointed out by our "fierce" leader and somehow, his "spirit" has been floating around the atmosphere. Guess what his visual entertainment of choice was? ... Yup! You guessed it, 'Twilight'! Now c'mon ... is this a serious paranormal novel or just fun and laughs? I can't see not one but two authors agreeing on this point among others.

Addison is no virgin. All I want to ask her is why she was still a virgin because she could deep throat like no ones business and don't get me started on her constant need to lose said virginity after it being her BFF for more than 20 years. Still, separate her untimely love, instant training as an Eros and reaction to angel babies, I like Addison. She had fire, spunk and quite the personality to match her never ending stomach.

Archer is good at brooding and while I liked his character in the beginning, I am not a fan of him in love. I could spend this novel focused on the "fight" more than I could the romance. The fate of the world is in their hands and their busy fighting over guys who flirt with her in a bar -_-

All the other male characters had my interest, apart from Archer, unless he was stretching his powers. I would have loved to get to know them and their powers more intimately because this intrigued me more than the story line itself.

I expect angles and demons to have a fight that rival all others, but instead I was left bored and wanting it to end as it began. I keep putting "fight" in quotations because the big reveal and climax was very flat and I am assuming this story is all wrapped up based on their very HEA despite God's supposed dislike for this species. I haven't done more research to see if this particularly claim is true so I am gonna take this novel and Wikipedia's information at face value.

Also, the names, what's up with those? Lazarus and Archius? C'mon now! You can do better. The sex was also rather basic too. The man can probably bench press the Hulk and that's the best you can do? He even has telekinesis on his side! I don't know man, this novel just lacked inspiration, conviction and details. I am actually shocked that this was the effort of two authors because it was very unimaginative and uninspiring for a story that already had it's base in religious history.

Though I was able to get through this novel after almost 2 days it was a task. I was bored, unimpressed and all round annoyed that something that could and should be epic was so lackluster. Their powers and back stories alone could have made for an epic tale but all this reminded me of was a teen movie with a mix of the 'Supernatural' TV series.

I straight up love paranormal romance. The first romance novel I ever read was a paranormal romance and was ultimately responsible for many, many nights (and mornings, and afternoons) spent reading anything I could get my hands on that involved vampires, werewolves and angels (oh my!) Therefore, when I picked up The Fall I naturally assumed I was going to enjoy it, no matter what happened. Assumption correct. Was it the best book I've ever read? No. But it had an interesting concept, a good title and a great cover. And because, angels.

Archer is half human, half angel and a leader among his kind. He's heard rumours about a new threat among his kind attempting to free their fallen Fathers and his race is divided. On the hunt for more information, Archer meets bartender/law student Addison O'Donnell and is immediately drawn to her. She's in danger and a human, and he the last thing he needs is to fall for her. Addy is broke, working and studying hard and not prepared for her life to be threatened and overtaken by a bunch of very large, very sexy men, including the confusing Archer. As their attraction builds, they have to find a way to keep her safe and stop the threat before its too late.

I wanted to love this book. I certainly enjoyed it and I'm not sorry I read it. But I didn't love it. It felt stilted at times. Things that required little description had way too much and vice versa. What seemed like set-ups for secondary plot points went nowhere and were never picked up again. The writing alternated between overly simple and infuriatingly complex (the prologue threw me - I read it a couple of times to be sure I followed what was happening, which is perhaps not the best reflection on me). There were a couple of sections where the timeline didn't feel quite right. Despite all this, The Fall was a good book. The idea was really great - I was intrigued from the first page - and the characters (in particular Jake and Levi) were well written. There were some very fun and funny interactions between Archer and his brothers/cousins, as well as a great scene between Addy and Jake at a strip club. Maybe it wasn't the best book I've ever read, but I'd read it again. And if the authors wrote more in this series, I'd read them too. Because I love paranormal romance. And did I mention the very large, very sexy men?

This is a standalone book, no cliffhanger.

I love paranormal romance stories; I’ve been away from them for far too long, and when I read the synopsis of The Fall, I knew it would be a great book to get back into the genre. The Nephilim are an interesting lot; they are seen as abominations, but there are a group of them who are known as “the Enforcers.” They run interference between humans and those of their kind who want to abuse their power or claim what they believe they deserve. One such intimidator is, Archer, and when he finds out that one of his own is after a human, Addison O’Donnell, for an act of ill intent, he does all that he can to protect her and perhaps to make her his despite his words that say otherwise.

I loved this story; it’s full of angst, sexual tension, and quite a bit of snarky humor. The story centers on Archer and Addison’s blossoming relationship as well as the plot to kidnap her. Archer is an alpha male who lives by duty and honor; he has never let his heart guide him…he’s always led with his mind, but Addison turns his life upside down. Addison is a feisty, independent woman who has always relied on herself, but when her life is in danger, she allows Archer and his brother, Jake, to protect her, but the push and pull relationship she has with Archer is driving her crazy. The cat and mouse game that Archer and Addison play makes the book an interesting read. Will they finally give into each other or will the threat that surrounds Addison’s life make it impossible?

Adding to the book’s enjoyment are the supporting characters. Archer’s brothers and friends make the text that much better. Jake, Jeremiah, Quinn, Ace, Chance, Laz and Levi are quite the handsome group of angels. They are a mix of brooding, sexy, strong, and wild characters who will protect those they love with their lives.

The Fall is an exciting and enjoyable paranormal read. It has a great blend of drama, humor, and action. You won’t regret giving it a try.

A complimentary copy of the text was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

EEEP!! I am sooo in love with this book and i am so excited to read MORE from these characters. I will admit when I started the book I said :OH CRAP!! I dont like all this Bible references and such." I mean I was gonna put the book down cuz I thought i wouldnt ba able to handle it. But TRUST ME, read thru the few few chapters and before you know it...HOOKED!!!

Archer is a angel who is tasekd with looking over a hhuman names Addison because a bad angel is looking for her. Why? We dont know but Archer and his hiliriousa brother Jake take it to task to keep her safe. Now Archer is Mr. Stick in the Mud and cant believe he is being temped by a *insert disgust* HUMAN! He talked to her a few times atht ebar he goes to and she works at. When the bad guys try to kindnap Addy, Archer jumps the gun and makes her move in with him. Everyone can SEE Archer is obsessed with Addy even though he will not admit it. I abso loved all his brothers and how they reacted to Archers attachment to Addy. I also loved how they would tease him terrible about his attachment to Addy. Jake was by far the best when he takes Addy to a strip club and they have multiple lap dances and get mega drunk. This is not something that makes Archer happy.....LOL but seriously funniest stuff to read.....I mean I was rolling while i read this book.

So the bad guys get Addy and Archer and his brothers are out to save her but Addy being Addy manages to find a helper within the bad guys to save her and guess what......he is...............oh snap i am sooo not gonna tell ya. Anyway, if you enjoy a good laugh, lots of sexual tension and a new and fun paranormal read then this my friends is a jackpot for you.

I really enjoyed this book! The first couple of chapters were a little slow, but after that the book picks up really quick. I love to read books about Angels, and this one didn’t disappoint.

I’m not really sure what to say without giving to much away, but this book is filled with action, drama (of course) and his a lot of wit that leaves you laughing out loud. Plus it’s full of hot sexy men! You have Jake, Jeremiah, Quinn, Ace, Chance, Laz and Levi, how is a girl supposed to pick just one when a book is filled with all this hotness?

Really though, this book really is about Archer and Addison. Archer is an Angel assigned to watch over Addison along with his brother Jake (who is hilarious) because there is a bad Angel out there looking to kidnap Addison. The relationship that Archer and Addison end up building is something neither expected.

Question is after everything they go through, and since they are of a completely different “species”, will they be able to actually be together? Or will the bad guy end up getting Addison?

If you are looking for a book that will have you laughing and at the edge of your seat, this is the book for you! I would totally recommend this book to any lover of the paranormal!

I enjoy reading an authors work who gives her readers back story and knows when to stop, this way we know a little about the storyline but not exactly the outcome yet. The author gives us a fresh look on our history of the great flood and why it happened which flows into the present time. Of course since we know that Nephilims are part Angel she definitely got the description right with how amazingly gorgeous and tall they are. All of the characters are well written and I loved them all! Even though this story is mainly about Archer and Addison there is definitely potential to see more books to possibly following some of the other characters story, I would read them all if there is.. Some of the scenes will have you laugh while others will have you wondering what’s going to happen next. I would have liked to see a little more action because of how the evil one acted (but looks can be deceiving lol) because of the genre but overall I enjoyed what the author did with her novel. The author had me wanting more and especially after the ending twist. My favorite character was Jake and I hope to see a book with his story because that will have you laughing for days. I recommend this one to everyone that loves paranormal!

A really beautiful and enjoyable and funny and action-packed paranormal story.

The beginning was slow and I did not know what to expect from the next pages. But then the story starts to pick up fast and become interesting and I was sucked in.

In The Fall we have the story of Archer and Addison. Archer and his brother Jack are angels who are assigned to watch after Addison and protect her of a bad angel who wants to hurt her.

As Archer and Addison start to spend more and more time together they started to build an unexpected feeling for each other. The sexual tension was seriously hot.

I laughed out loud so many times while reading this book. It was so funny.

The book has many interesting support characters that are so amazing.

The authors did a really great job with this book. If you love to read paranormal romance stories that you will not be able to put down until you finish it this one is for you.

I wish I could say that I loved this book, it has a good storyline BUT, the authors moved the storyline to fast…I felt that the characters needed more development, even the plot needed more development...The whole concept of the fall of the Angels was different and interest, but again, the storyline moved to fast, it seen that the authors didn't take a breather, while writing…The good thing about this book, is there no cliffhanger…The only reason I giving it a 3 stars, because I did like the whole concept about the Angels, to bad that the writer's didn't take a break, while writing the book ><

Wow...I really wanted to like this book. I LOVED the cover and have been stalking the release date, but the story fell short. The character development was weak and the story felt pushed along. I liked all of the characters and could see a future series here. The bones of the story were really good and I think with a bit more development this could be a good book. I read it in a few short hours.

Hmmm what to say about The Fall...I liked this book but didn't love it.

At the end of reading I felt as if there could have been something more and thought perhaps it would have been a better book if it were apart of a series.

Reading the first half of the book was actually good...after Malachi got Addison everything seemed very rushed...still I liked it enough to give it four stars.

Quick, fun, read. It has supernatural beings. It has romance. It came across as rushed at parts because there was so many plot points. The author could easily make a series out of the sub plots and characters. All in all a good read and I would read other things by this author.
