About the author

Jenny Dale

192 books43 followers
Prolific author of animals stories for younger children, in particular dog and cat stories. As well as a Puppy Tales and Kitten Tales series she has written the Pony Tales series of pony books.

There is some speculation that the author does not actually exist but is a psuedonym for another author or authors. One author mentioned as writing under the name of Jenny Dale is Liss Norton, who incidentally is also said to be one of the ghostwriters for the Lucy Daniels Animal Ark series.

Another re-read from my childhood. Quite fun however I do find it kind of hilarious how over-Dutchified the Dutch translation is. The location has been changed to the Netherlands, and all characters have been changed to very generic Dutch names to the point they might as well be called Dutchy McDutchface at this point.

This was another one of those books I read to lessen my TBR. Again, the puppies were cute, but Neil was annoying. Now on to Elska from my children's TBR.

I loved it and glad sherlock gets the job he absolutely deserves over the other dog up for the job. It was interesting seeing mr. Harding as a good guy and reformed criminal instead of a criminal
