The only reason I'm putting this on my goodreads history is because of the pain I endured reading it. Quite possibly one of the worst riddle books I've ever read. Let me give a beautiful example
Q- what is white, covered in bandages, and goes put put put?
I wasn't too impressed, but I'm not the audience it was written for. It didn't work out well for my second grade grandson either since he didn't catch most of the puns. Fourth and fifth graders would probably find it very clever.
Our youngest loves joke books and we've read several books of riddles by Katy Hall. Her favorite is Mummy Riddles - she's read that one probably a dozen times. So, when we discovered this book at our local library, we expected more of the same kinds of jokes and silly humor.
This book just didn't have the same appeal. It had so many bad, bad jokes and illustrations that were just okay. Overall, I suppose our youngest liked it, but I found it to be quite irritating.
