Lord love a duck!! Don't you just love it when an author takes a secondary character you loved from a previous book and writes a story for them! :) We met Addison in Sunset Heat, and I was so very happy to have him get his own story (even if it was a short one).
Addison is supposed to be heading to his cousin's bachelor party, but he finds himself at a party in the company of a red headed siren he is undeniably drawn to. :) Casey tagged along with her cousin Sharon to the party, and while playing a game of suck and blow, she decides to throw caution to the wind and kiss the hunky knight of the realm.
Now guys... I will tell you that the chemistry and heat between these two is off the charts! Really... it is sooo very good! The story is about one intensely hot night, but I want sooo much more with these two!

Don't you love it when an author takes a secondary character from a book and writes him/her his own story? Ever since I read Sunset Heat I've wondered about Addison Lancaster and in A Single Knight, we get to see what he's been up to and a little taste of what's to come in his life. It is a little taste and I'm warning author Lexxie Couper that it's fine for now, but I want the whole triple layer chocolate cake soon!
Addison is back from Madagascar and it's been almost twelve months since he denounce his rakish ways after losing the woman of his dreams to his cousin. Back in Australia for their wedding, he finds himself
at a house party he was invited to by a model he met on the airplane.
I love the wild and wicked party atmosphere where a good portion of this story is told but most of all I love that the heroine Casey doesn't treat Addison with the same adoration and fawning that most women do. There's no doubt she's attracted but she manages to remain aloof which of course drives Addison nuts. It was fun to watch Addison chase after a woman and have to work for something he wants for a change. But, holy hell their chemistry is scorching and when they do finally act on it...wow!
This is a novella and the ending is a happy for now ending but you get the idea these two are headed towards happily ever after. It is my hope that Casey's cousin, Sharon (who we met briefly an in a compromising position), will get her own story soon and we'll see just how well Casey and Addison are doing. While short, I can't help but love the way these two met, the crazy atmosphere, the undeniable chemistry and the idea that sometimes love at first sight truly does exist.

Talk about a fast and furious story. Short, sweet, sexy and hot. Lexxie Couper really knows how to throw a punch with a novella that will definitely leave you wanting for more. Sir Knight … Sir Oh My God You’re Incredible with the best scrambled eggs in Australia? Yea, he knows just who he is and who he wants and can’t wait to get his hands on her. Now, he just has to get her on board and he could show her just what is so special about his scrambled eggs.
Casey knows of the English rake Sir Addison Lancaster and he is so out of her league. But, she can’t help but let go and get that kiss she wanted to fuel her fantasies. I am a HUGE fan of Lexxie's and this book is brilliant! She now gives us the scoop on Addison!
Addison who has been away for a year working and his wounds are healed from losing the woman he loved to his cousin. HE actually comes back to Australia to attend his cousins wedding but makes a pit stop on the way. And what does he find, he spots Casey....
Casey doesn't make it easy for Addison and the chemistry between the too is HOT. BUT LOVE always wins out in the end!
Read this book and you will want to read all of Lexxie's books!

We first meet Sir Addison Lancaster in Sunset Heat when he and his cousin fall hard for the same woman, and his cousin comes out the victor of her heart. After spending a year away in the wilderness of Madagascar he returns to Australia for his cousin’s wedding. Jet lagged he finds himself at a posh party instead in a game of suck and blow where he meets the woman that will be his HeA.
Casey Louise feels out of place at rich party her cousin dragged her too, when the British Knight is in line for the game of suck and blow she takes her chance and let’s the card slip from her lips to steal a kiss. Why not? When will she ever have such an opportunity again? What she never intended was for her heart to be stolen in the process.
This is a sexy read to enjoy sitting out in the sun, curled up on the couch or chin deep in a bubble bath.

The Rake & The Vet
I have always enjoyed Lexxie’s stories, and hope for her “boys” to find their forever! This one was no different for Addison & Casey. He is a knighted playboy, she a reserved veterinarian. They have an off the charts sexual chemistry, the question is, can he convince her that they would be great together? A Single Knight is fast paced and utterly enjoyable, I loved it!

Think about this, you go to a party with a gal-pal who parties with the rich and beautiful crowd, people you don't know, and said gal-pal disappears leaving you stranded when the party begins to a modern Roman orgy. Enter an entirely too charming and well-mannered Knight of the Realm who has been flirting with you and defends your reputation by dissuading a drunk jock by head-butting the brute. Said Knight then offers to squire you to your destination two hours away. Would you do what comes naturally, or would you shake hands and say 'thanks'? I know what I'd do...finish reading the story and find out what Casey and Addison do.

I absolutely adore Lexxie Couper and her wit.
This quick read is full of charm, laughs, and the perfect dialog.
Addison will do anything to have the chance to be able to kiss Casey again. Even if it means driving two hours away to take her home. High speeds aren't the only thing that will get your heart rate up in this sexy story.

You had me at "sexy British Knight" with this one and Lexxie delivered, as always. Again, the character development left me a little disjointed, especially at the end. However, the writer leaves the reader wanting more from the story.
