Rayne Rachels lives in Texas with her husband. In her free time she enjoys photography, reading, going to flea markets, and playing poker. Lisa's Bear is the first novella in her Bryant Station Curves series.
This up. By a strange is a great book it could of been longer it's about a lady and small child in trouble. They have car trouble and start walka a passing vehicle then she meets ing to a town then they get picked up by A by someone you really need to read her books great 👍job
Tara is running from her brother in law who wants to use her and her daughter to settle his debts with some very bad people. She has car trouble and a couple and their nephew Ben stop to help. Ben knows instantly that Tara is his father's true mate. Jason feels that Tara is his mate but his first mate died and you only get one mate. I was very annoyed by Jason feeling that his feelings were Tara could not be feelings towards a mate as he had a mate already who died. However, he is in the middle of divorcing a skank so he was ok to marry her but to not have a relationship with someone he feels so strongly for. I felt that Tara deserved a mate who waited for her instead of marrying someone really just for sex.
editing was horrible! Missing words or wrong words used. Reading the bears conversations with their humans was extremely annoying with the kindergarten type conversations. Overall the story was enjoyable but I was highly annoyed with the lack of editing. I purchased book #2 before I realized it was not the first book, so I immediately bought book #1 before reading either one. I read through both books in roughly 12 hrs...I had the same frustration in both. This series needs some serious editing.
This was a well written book. I do not want to spoil it so here goes.
You know from the description Tara is running and trust me she had to. Just imagine what planning you have to do and how many changes you have to make along the way to save your child. I am a mother Bear myself.
In walks Jason a bear of a man (Sorry had to say it) close your eyes and picture your dream man and wow.
I came upon this book whilst browsing and I'm really glad I did. I loved the storyline and the characters. I do however think this book needed a little more work and information. There were spelling errors names were mixed up(thus 4 stars). But I still really enjoyed this book!
I loved Tara and Jason's story. I liked how they both wanted to fight the mating pull after first meeting but quickly gave in. Allison visiting Jason was also a nice twist. I am looking forward to reading the next in the series.
Like the first book in the sires, this book was not a bad read but was one the short side page wise. This is another case were I would give this book a 3.5 rating.
