These books awe wonderful, and a must to every family's bookshelf. I still enjoy sitting down with the gang, and laughing and sighing over all their adventures!

Lost boys and Mercy
Sometimes it's hard to be a good person and do the right thing.
That's exactly, where the Sugar creek Gang found themselves.
To have compassion for another who would not give it to you.
A good story dealing with problems, many kids, teens, as well
as we adults have to deal with in today's life. Learning how to
Make the right decision, who to turn to for advice. We've all been
there. Another adventure in Sugar Creek IN. Can't wait for the
next book, to see what happens to the Sugar Creek Gang.

These were great as a kid. The stories in them were full of just the right flavor of adventure for a young boy. Even better, you could count on the series to be clean and have positive moral values behind them.

These books are not quite as fun for me now as they were when I first read them as a kid--they had different titles, then--but I still enjoy the rambly, slangy, conversational train of thought first person in which they are written. Bill used to make me wish that I could go join the Gang, if they would make an exception and let a girl in--or that I could have a Gang of my own.

If you like cute books and one to get a laugh out of these are great! There more for little kids but I like them anyway. It's written from a 10 year old boys perspective about his group of friends and all the adventures they get into and out of :).

November 14, 2012I remember really liking this series when I was around 9 or 10. I had forgotten that they were overtly Christian. I don't know if I want to look back at them from an adult perspective, it may ruin the memory for me.

I've loved the Sugar Creek series ever since I can remember. Even now they have me smirking and laughing. I love all the characters, each with their unique personlities. Definitely great books for ages: 7-12 (and older).

We've either been reading this series or listening to them on cd or the radio since we moved to this area. The boys really enjoy them. They are pretty entertaining!
