INDIA ADVENTURE STORIES VOLUME ONE

Rate this book
Man-eater is a common term for an animal that preys upon humans. This does not include scavenging. Although human beings can be attacked by many kinds of animals, man-eaters are those that have incorporated human flesh into their usual diet. Most reported cases of man-eaters have involved tigers, leopards, lions and crocodiles. However, they are by no means the only predators that will attack humans if given the chance; a wide variety of species have also been known to take humans as prey. Hope Amazon will notice this. This man is simply taking a copyright free material and selling in his name. What a shame.

It's rare I don't finish reading a book once I start, but this is one of those times I couldn't read more than I did. The stories are good; however, the formatting is so bad it was hard for me to concentrate on the tales being told. There often was no clear-cut ending to one story and the beginning of the next.

Great Indian wildlife stories

This is a nice book containing stories of Indian jungles that is long gone. The stories as claimed to be true, could have more detailed descriptions of events. This book is good for all age groups whoever has interest in learning about Indian wildlife.

If you ignore the author for associating wildlife shooting with sport in India and the fact that he refers to Indians in several derogatory terms e.g., coolies, it is a good read. It is a good account of the adventures that one once would have encountered in wildlife rich India which was thrown away during the British Raj with rampant killing of exotic animals for sports.

I liked it!

Some pages are not there, I feel as one of stories was abruptly stopped before it came to a satisfactory conclusion and the last chapter started at the middle of nowhere... But still worth it! Recommend.

Great book.

Great reading. Worth every page. Looking forward to reading more thrilling books from this author. In a league of Jim Corbett and Kenneth Anderson.

great stories

Well written and very interesting. I can’t think of fifteen more words to write or the six more required for no good reason.

Good, entertaining shikaar stories, along with a one-off ghost story too!
