My husband is usually trying to attract bats to our land (through building bat houses); frankly, I thought he was a bit on the loony side. Now, I understand where he’s coming from with bats (goodness, they can eat 200 insects per hour).
The photos were unbelievably clear and plentiful. The few words with each photo would make this a great eBook for a reluctant reader.
Grammatical errors, a boring narrative with little to no transitions, and amateurish photographs plague this book about bats. It's a fast read and certainly informative, but not very engaging for children.
