A lackluster second novel.

RJ and Sandringham spend most of their time trailing after a girl. The villain does a bad Blofeld impression, and the whole things just kind of runs out. It doesn't end in a cliffhanger or anything, it just ends, without any sort of climax or denouement.

This is a First Read for me that I recently won. The title intrigued me along with the brief summary. This is the second in the series about RJ Hudson and Sandringham.

It takes place in the present. A sort of James Bond adventure with tons of gadgets, fast cars, handsome and daring hero and a beautiful woman.

RJ Hudson is back in England after living in Japan. His uncle has brought him back to educate and train RJ to take over the family business. Along with his Samurai training, RJ brings his desire to find the people responsible for the deaths of his parents and his fiancé. All he has to go on is the words spoken to him just before his father died.

RJ's uncle is on the same path of solving the murders, calling into play the secret organization he runs, to create/invent various gadgets that will assist RJ and his valet, Sandringham (a trained agent), in their pursuit of the organization responsible.

The action takes place in the South American country of Colombia. The organization they are searching for is run by the evil Dr. Thrax. Fast cars, the tropical jungle, men who have no qualms inflicting pain on anyone.

Can RJ and Sandringham find the organization? Can the cryptic clue be solved? You'll have to read the book to find out.

This is a great book, very intense and attention to the detail of how to
solve the "puzzle" of the story. Slowly you will learn the clues on how to break the puzzle! It took me some times to discover it.

Another great book - A must-read for sure!

This was a great book!
It has the bonus of not only being an incredible book, just simply entertaining too, written by an amazing clever author. The characters are beautifully developed even in their own simplicity, that makes this book great.
Grab it and surely you'll enjoy!

The mystery continues, to a place where the plane crashed. But the enemy that RJ and Sandringham had to face were absolutely untouchable.

With great details of searching and finding where the enemy hide..was brilliant.

I feel like running with them on the story as well.

I have finished reading this book. the story line about RJ & Sandringham went to the adventures in Dr. Thrax house in mountain, with Piranha Pond sound familiar with me.
This story filled out with RJ & Gigi Rodriquez character and role , as a woman of bravery.

But, still the detail about expensive/branded things, made the focus on story sunk by these too details of luxury brands.
The puzzle of how to discover the code quite interesting in this adventure.

This book feels pretty much like a story accompanying a game.
I can imagine the game begins by picking the hero, whether you'll play as RJ the cool british ninja, or as the great veteran Major Sandringham, maybe as Gigi Rodrigez too at the side game.
The game would even have some advertisements already. The cars (all british apparently), the outfits, watch, hotels and restaurants.
