One of my favourite reference book on Chinese Horoscope.It details the background of Chinese Astrology. It also gave a comprehensive understanding of the 60- year cycle of the 12 Animal Signs and how the combination of the 10 Heavenly Stems and 12 Earthly Branches is used for time-keeping and astrology.
It has a whole section on the characteristics of the 12 Animal Signs. Each animals main attributes,character,luck according to year,month and time of birth and your luck year-by-year.
In addition there is a detailed section on The Tzu Wei (Purple Star) Astrological System that teaches one to plot the charts and gives clear explanation of what the stars in each palace represents.
An added bonus at the end of the book is a calender table that helps convert the lunar and solar dates from 1924-2001.
Only problem is as this book was published in 1995, any information for dates beyond 2001 may not be available.
