Scott Hahn

A former Presbyterian minister, Hahn converted to Catholicism in 1986 after an intense personal and theological journey, which he details in his popular book Rome Sweet Home, co-written with his wife, Kimberly Hahn. Hahn holds the Father Michael Scanlan Chair of Biblical Theology and the New Evangelization at the Franciscan University of Steubenville, where he has taught since 1990. As with all the entries in this series, excellent. Intro, commentary, sidebars, charts, maps all outstanding. My go to series for explicating the Word. I have no read every Old Testament booklet published. I suspect there will be no more individual booklets published as we should soon see the arrival of the entire Old Testament (I can't wait).

I do find the varied explanations from one source to another quite interesting. Obviously we can't know with certainty the timeline of these words and the editorial process involved, but just accept them as canonically part of our faith.
