Raunchy #4

Mad Maxxx: Children of The Catacombs Extra Raunchy

Rate this book
What do you get when you put a group of vagrants, alcoholics, drug addicts, murderers and troubled teenagers, in a dark tunnel alone? T. Styles' next twisted novel, Mad MaXXX: Children of The Catacombs! After being blamed for a crime she didn't commit, Madjesty (from the RAUNCHY series) retreats to the Catacombs, a tunnel nicknamed by the homeless who live there. Although the conditions are less than habitable, she discovers some painful things about herself, through the eyes of people more tormented than she is. Despite the rats, public sex exploitations, violence and the mystery of never really knowing the people around you, Madjesty is the most comfortable she's ever been in her life. With them she feels right at home. Until Everest comes into the picture, with her tall tales that only Madjesty doesn't buy. Although it's obvious to others around Madjesty, that she may be falling in love, she avoids it at all cost. After all, every female she has ever cared for was murdered or violently ripped from her life, twisting her mind up in the process. Even though she avoids the affections of Everest, she finds love anyway in a 5-year old named Pickles, who was born in the Catacombs and abandoned by his mother soon after. Before long Madjesty appears to be getting her life together, but there is one problem, Wicked, the power-hungry self-proclaimed leader, doesn't want her there. He's doing everything he can to have her removed from the Catacombs, even if it means taking her life. Mad MaXXX is a look into the mind of T. Styles, and readers are in for an original ride never seen before in urban fiction. Strap in your seat belt and enjoy!

Good follow up story to what Mad had been doing since the conclusion of Raunchy 3. Her being on the run because of being falsely accused of murder causes her to hide out in the underbelly called the Catacombs. She has to deal with the filth, drugs, and hate thrown by others while surviving with her group of friends -- Mad Maxx. She also has to figure out how to get her life back on track and regain custody of her son while trying to fight the feelings of falling in love. There is a surprise appearance from a character in another of T Styles books, be on the lookout. Loved the twisted tale and am looking for more.

Pretty good story about Mad and her new found lifestyle. She been through a lot and is still going through more although I thought it was over. Like the old saying "when ain't one thing its another". She has some serious hurdles to jump and lets hope she makes it over cause in my opinion she is a good person. The catacombs became apart of her life but sometimes you have to let go if you can do better. Sometimes you have to leave good people behind but that is life. So the rival has began again sister against sister...Who will come out on top? Who are you rooting for? :-) I won't say who I would like I will just wait on the next installment...:-) Great job T. Styles.

SO this book was a little bit more complex for me to get into at first. I can definitely say it had drama in it but not as much drama as the past 3 books of the series. In this book however it was all on madjesty and how her life was going. I definitely did see the good and bad of mad and how much she matured throughout this book. she was definitely one of my favorite characters, and her ways of survival and how much she missed death was simply amazing.
The catacombs was a whole different part of the world.. and the characters in the books definitely adapted to it quick.
EVEREST kind of made me mad throughout the book but she definitely managed to make it back to my good side by the end of the book.
the east and west wingers didnt like each other. WICKED was one that i wanted dead more then ever, he was very sneaky and shiesty. the one in the book that i absolutely hated.
jayden wasnt really in this book too much but the stunt that she pulled at the end of the book had me wanting to fuck her up forreal.
kali wasnt really in this book too much but the little bit that he was was good... he was definitely on the verge of wanting to get his daughter back and move on.
RICK is a sheisty as mf. we all knew that if you read the past raunchy series. Im just patiently waiting on someone to off him more than anything.
I am happy that there were some of the good ones that lived in the catacombs.
Im ready to read this 5th book. to see how its hitting. T.STYLES definitely did her damn thing.

What can I say about Mad MaXXX? This book was everything I hoped for & more. There were a few surprise visits from some characters from other stories. There's a ton of twists & turns! And of course plenty of sick & twisted episodes. One of the best books of T.Styles/ Reign's work. Can't wait for the next book!

Darn

And the story continues.. just when I thought it was over, another cliffhanger. T. Styles you never disappoint. It was nice to see Mad come into her own and forgiving her mother, so she can begin her life, then comes the next problem. The devil is always working. Can't wait for the next one!

This book was OK. It kept me entertained. It's really 2.5 stars. The premise was interesting. I do think if I knew there were books (or a related series) before this one, I would have read those first.
Typos and errors aside, I would probably recommend.
